With just one glance, a spark ignites.
A bond between two is hard to break
Eyes lock, and time stands still
As a connection forms, beyond our will.

Authors POV

As Aarthi and Ekansh stood alone, the air tingled with the unspoken emotions swirling between them. Their friends had left, leaving behind a palpable awkwardness.

It was Ekansh who decided to shatter the silence. "Shall we head to the car?" Aarthi just nodded and followed him.

Once seated, Ekansh offered to stop somewhere for breakfast, but Aarthi politely declined. Her stomach betrayed her, rumbling loudly, causing her cheeks to flush with embarrassment.

Ekansh gave a faint, tiny giggle. "How about we simply go? I mean, I'm starving, and if you want to eat too, we can stop at my favourite restaurant on the way to your house." Aarthi couldn't help but nod as her stomach grumbled again.

Soon, they reached the tiffin center. They both stole shy glances all the way in the car at each other, content in each other's presence.

The waiter came and asked for an order: "One idly and one medu vada, along with one coffee." Ekansh ordered and looked at Aarthi to give her order.

Understanding his gesture, she ordered hers, "One plate of puri with coffee."

"Sorry, ma'am, but Puri isn't available right now. Can you order anything other than that?" The waiter politely said.

Aarthi pouted a little and ordered a plain dosa for herself too. Ekansh's heart fluttered with her pout

Their dishes soon arrived, and with each mouthful, the tension dissipated, replaced by an unspoken connection that seemed to deepen with each shared moment

Their dishes soon arrived, and with each mouthful, the tension dissipated, replaced by an unspoken connection that seemed to deepen with each shared moment. It was in these silences filled with stolen glances that their love blossomed, unspoken yet profoundly felt.

When the car finally arrived at Aarthi's house, Ekansh stayed by her side, reluctant to get out. There was a hint of anguish in Aarthi's eyes; her confused look was engraved with turmoil regarding her mother.

Ekansh felt her distress, and his heart tightened, wondering if his presence was the cause of her unhappiness.

He couldn't help but pipe out, feeling compelled to say something: "I've heard from Gautham that you're working on your job trails. How are things going?"

The question brought back memories of Aarthi's morning with her parents, and tears pooled up in her eyes.

Unable to hide them, she spoke fast: "Yeah, I'm still working on them." She was unable to control her emotions, and she couldn't stay any longer there, revealing her weak side to him.
