With each passing season,
Our love only grows stronger.
For it is the reason,
We can weather any weather.

Ekansh POV

"Idiot, fucking brainless, shitty idiot." I growled as I drove the car back to Gautham's home.

I could hear half-suppressed laughs from the backseat.

"What is the thing that you are about to die due to suppressed laughs?" Siddharth started a conversation while turning back as he is sitting beside me. "I will also laugh na, tell me," he continued.

I glared at them, daring to utter a word out of their mouth.

*sighs* I can't believe that I'm sitting in the car, driving these idiots home instead of her.

Flashback

"Why don't you guys take one car and head to a restaurant for dinner? Later, he'll drop you at Gayatri's house." As soon as Gautham finished, I felt as if I am on cloud nine.

"No, no, it can't happen." Raj cut Gautham off abruptly, making me scowl. "We'll spend our friends' night out together, Jijju, so it's okay. We haven't had it in such a long time, and I'm not sure when we will be able to, as you're going to make up for all the nights you missed, right?" Then he gave Gautham a double-meaning wink. Bastard.

Gautham gave a small smile to Raj and glanced at me. While I was looking for 'NO' from her, she just looked down. What's so interesting going down there that she doesn't speak up?

"Also, Aaru would rather have maggi and scoops of ice cream over biryani at this time, right, Aaru?" He gave her a nudge.

This man clearly wishes to die; how dare he refer her as Aaru? Is that okay with her? She is, of course, alright. Who are you to disagree? My subconscious laughed. This one is undoubtedly going to be killed on the same day as Raj dies.

And she nodded quickly with a mere smile. No date, it is.

Flashback Ends

I closed the doors harshly as I entered the room and dropped onto the bed.

"It looks like Raj really knows how to be a middleman. Don't you think Pranav?" Gautham chuckled.

*chuckles* "Yeah, well, at least she didn't have to witness his terrible flirting moves." Pranav said as he removed his kurta.

"As if your flirting was much better," I retorted back. "That idiot just had to interrupt us at the worst possible moment." I mumbled to myself.

"Hey, at least you got to have free leftover ice cream from him. Silver lining, my friend! Poor Aaru couldn't get to eat or drink anything except water." Gautham joked out.

"Maybe Raj is secretly in love with Aarthi, and he just can't stand the thought of you two being together. Also, didn't you see how everybody gossiped and hooted for them when they both danced together?" Pranav teased me by pressing on my last nerve.

With that, I stood abruptly and began to speak.

"First of all, her name is Aarthi, not Aaru." Pushing my hair back sharply, and I went on.

"On top of that, he isn't in a romantic relationship with her! He's only her friend, as Gautham had already mentioned. "After that, I threw my phone into the room's corner. There was probably a crack in the screen.
