Kiefer and Mika were both silent. Only Kiefer's phone was ringing, breaking the silence. They were both looking at it, waiting for someone to make the wrong move.

They could see it was Alyssa calling, and Mika could not contain her annoyance. "Are you going to pick it up or should I throw it away for good?"

"What is it about this time, Ye?" he answered back, the ringing of the phone getting on his nerves.

"Go ahead. Answer it," she dared him.

He picked up the phone and curtly answered,"Not now, Alyssa. I'll call you back," and he cut off the call without waiting for the other line to answer him.

Mika scoffed at him and said,"Look, if you don't have time for me because you are busy, I'd understand. Pero bakit ako palagi ang nahuhuli sa priorities mo? Di ba ako pwede kahit third man lang? Or kahit sa gitna?"

"We've discussed this before! What is really the problem, Ye?" he asked, his patience running a bit thin.

"Oh, I don't have a problem, mister! Maybe you should ask yourself if you've got a problem managing your time!" she accused him.

"Now I have a problem, she says! Next to imposssible because of my busy schedule, why am I here? Why did I leave the company of my friends just to see you tonight?" he answered back.

"Now you're telling me that I'm the problem? I didn't ask you to jilt your friends! All I'm asking is a bit of your time! A text! A phonecall!" she shot back.

Kiefer stood up and turned his back on her. "Ye, tell me honestly: do you really think it's about me and my time management skills?" he asked softly this time. He was getting sick and tired of this game.

"A part of it, yes. But a huge part of it is you not making the effort to see me, just like the way you do with Alyssa or any of the boys." Mika replied. She could not look at him, with hurt eating inside her.

Kiefer laughed emptily, so tired of their frequent petty quarrels. "You know what? Let's just sleep this over, and let's talk again tomorrow, when we are both sane and... saner!" he finished. He went back to her, and kissed her on the cheek. "Good night, Baby."

Mika looked at him, eyes full of hurt, and blurted out, "Goodbye."

Kiefer immediately went straight to Alyssa's dorm, as he knows the guys will be taking some time before they return back to their dorm, and he does not want to come home to an empty room. He was just in the nick of time before visitors are ushered out of the dorm. He asked for Alyssa, and as her name was being paged, he sat down at the waiting area and waited for her.

After 5 minutes, he could see her coming out of the hallway.

She does not seem happy to see him, and he noticed the slight arc of her brows.

She just sat across him, with her arms across her chest. He looked at her, fidgeting, and that made Alyssa say,"If you just want to use the comfort room, you should have just asked reception."

"Yes, exactly what I need - COMFORT!" he laughed sarcastically. Alyssa looked at him, gauging him, if he is just here to pick a fight with her. She crossed her arms over her chest tighter, and asked, "Okay, so what's the problem?"

"I'm sorry, at medyo di maayos pagsagot ko ng phone." he ruffled his hair, then massaged his temples. He gave a big sigh, and that alerted Alyssa, "You want to go out, and talk?"

"No, I'm going." He said, standing up, and Alyssa walked with him until they reached the door, Kiefer turned to Alyssa and said,"Let's have dinner."
