It had been about two months since Richard's death. Roxanne had buried him on her own without a funeral since she couldn't cover the expenses. She buried him in a secluded park in which no one dared to step into. She knew this wasn't a proper place for someone to rest in peace but she couldn't do otherwise. She dag a grave on her own and put Richard's corpse inside. Then she covered it with dirt.
The following days were torturing for the girl since she had to live alone again. Though Richard's words were repeating in her head. She should be able to find someone else. She should forget him. It was time for her to rebuild her life.
As for Max and Lizzy, they were both living in separate apartments in Malta. They never returned to the way they used to be even after the revelation of their crime seven years ago to the police. Lizzy was employed as a singer in a beach bar and Max was trying to manage his mafa group through the foreign place.
All the characters knew one thing though: that it was time for a new beginning
