Inside an alleyway, behind two trash beans hid a young blond haired girl. It had been a couple of years since Lizzy Brown had been thrown out of her house due to the panic she had caused during a very important dinner. Since then she was forced to live in the streets, desperately searching for food and money.

One day a young man happened to pass by the said alleyway. As he was walking without any worries in his head he suddenly had a weird feeling. He stood still for one or two minutes. Then he suddenly turned around only to see a young Lizzy trying to pickpocket him. He immediately gripped her wrist but not as tight as to hurt her.

The girl straggled to pull her hand away.

"Hey! Leave me alone!" She yelled desperately catching the attention of the people passing by the scene.

The boy covered her mouth with one of his hands and dragged her into the alleyway where they'd have some privacy.

"Explain yourself!" Demanded the young man once he cornered Lizzy against the wall of a building.

The young girl was looking at the unknown to her boy in shock and fear. The male sighed as he noticed the fear of the girl.

"Look, I'm sorry for yelling at you but just so you know you shouldn't pickpocket the poor passengers".

"No, I should be sorry. Its just that I haven't eaten for some weeks now. My family kicked me out of the house after I caused trouble and now I'm forced to live in the streets without food, money or clothes" explained Lizzy with a lowered head.

The boy looked at her in sympathy. Then he took out his wallet and pulled out five dollars. He gave them to the girl. Lizzy looked at him with lit up eyes.

"Thank you" she whispered with hope.

The boy nodded in acknowledgement.

"What's your name?" Asked Lizzy. Curious about the name of her savior

"Maximus, Maximus Rider. But you can call me Max. Yours?"

"Elisabeth Brown. But you can call me Lizzy".

A few weeks later Max happened to be passing by the same alleyway he met Lizzy again. Once he recalled the day he met her he didn't miss a chance to search for her. Suddenly he heard voices nearby. There was a conflict. He soon rushed to the place the sounds were coming from only to see a police officer having a tight grip on Lizzy's wrist and a drunkard laying on the ground.

"Don't you see Mr policeman!? That drunkard tried to harass me! I did what I did in my defense!" The girl pleaded.

Once he heard her pleads Max rushed to the scene and got between Lizzy and the police officer freeing the poor girl from his tight grasp.

"Hey there Mr policeman. No need to put up a fight now. The young miss had every right to do what she did. The drunkard tried to harass her so she only defended herself" he tried to reassure with the officer.

The officer decided that he shouldn't mess up with the certain boy. His expression was one of shock once he saw him.

After the officer left Max and Lizzy remained alone. The young girl let out a sigh of relief.

"Thank you once again Max. I wouldn't know what to do without you".

"No need. I did what I thought was right. But seriously Lizzy, you out up with that drunkard!?"

The girl nodded in response. After some thought Max spoke again.

"Its decided! You'll join my mafia group!"

Lizzy's eyes widened in shock.

"M-mafia!?" She stuttered.

"Oh yeah... Sorry I didn't tell you before. I'm Maximus Rider. The future boss of the Rider mafioso family" the male introduced himself properly this time.

Since that encounter Lizzy has been by Max's side as his girlfriend and later on as his wife. Together they were an invincible duo. People would call them the second Bonnie and Clyde. They had committed numerous crimes and Lizzy was mostly used to manipulate and seduce their targets. She even earned herself a job as a singer at one of the bars Max owned where she also met Roxanne McCathy, her eternal rival when it comes to attention from men. Max would always advice her not to mess up with the waitress.

It was that day when Max had lost his father thanks to his rival, Richard Lawrence. Lizzy had assisted him in destroying the Lawrence family and now it was time for him to pay the price. The young woman was leaning against the wall of her husband's office while Max himself was pacing up and down the room holding the letter Richard had left behind. That day was the same he officially became the new boss.

And now what was the outcome? After what they went through they had to divorce due to Lizzy's feelings for her ex husband's rival. Max snapped out of his thoughts of his past with Lizzy once he heard a panicked knock on the door of his office. Then he heard the door opening and inside stepped his ex wife with a panicked expression on her face.

"Max, I didn't come here in order to argue with you! There are more important matters!" She said panicking.

The male stood up from his seat.

"What happened Lizzy?"

"Its happening".
