THE NEXT DAY, A KNOCK ON THE DOOR made Julie look up from her book. "Come in." Julie called out. The redhead smiled softly as Willy walked into the room. "What's that?"

"You told me that if I could get you the supplies you would make me a pastry." Willy handed her a bag. Julie gasped in amazement as she opened the bag. Inside there was every everything she needed and more.

"Woah. This is double everything I need." Julie looked up at Willy.

"Well I don't want to be the only one eating it so I though you would make one for yourself too." Willy grinned. Willys eyes widened as Julie stood up and wrapped her arms around his waist.

"Thank you." Julie smiled. "This is the part where you hug me back." Julie chuckled as she looked up at the man.

"Oh! Right.." Willy awkwardly chuckled and wrapped his arms around her neck. "You're welcome, Jules." Julie's cheeks tinted pink when Willy used her nickname. "I hope you don't mind me calling you Jules. I heard Noodle calling you it one day."

"I don't mind." Julie giggled as pecked his lips before she backed away. "Do you have a bowl and a whisk by any chance Mr.Magic hat?" Willy let out a laugh and took off his hat.

"You don't have to wait for me to make this, ya know?" Julie glanced at Willy. "You can go back to your room and do whatever until i'm done." Willy shrugged and continued to watch her whisk something in the bowl.

"I don't mind. It's interesting." Willy smiled.

"If you say so." Julie shrugged and continued to whisk.

It had been a few hours after Julie had started, neither Willy nor Julie knew what time it was. All they knew was that is was pitch black outside. "Would you mind lighting another candle?"

"Where are your matches?" Willy asked as he stood up.

"They are in a box under my bed" Julie pointed to her bed. Willy nodded and grabbed the box. He placed it on the bed and opened it, quickly finding the matches. "Who's this?" He held up a photo. Julie didn't even need to turn around to see the photo, she knew what photo he was holding.

"That's my mother." Willys walked over to the desk and sat down.

"You look just like her." Willy held the photo next to Julie, his eyes flickering between the photo and Julie.

"Yeah. She used to say we were twins. People always asked if we were sisters." Julie smiled softly. "She would always buy us matching outfits for when we go meet her friends. She would always tell me 'Wear this so I never lose you. When I look into a crowd I want to be able to spot you right away'"

"She sounds like she was a very lovely woman." Willy told Julie.

"She was. She was amazing. The best mother I could ever ask for. She's the one who taught me how to bake." Julie sadly chuckled. "I remember one day she was teaching me how to make a Chouquette. I was going to grab something but there was egg on the floor. I tripped and grabbed my mother's arm making her fall with me. We sat there and laughed until our stomachs hurt." Julie smiled sadly at the memory. As a tear fell Willy quickly life's his hand and wiped it away. Julie sniffed and wiped her hands on a towel before rubbing her eyes. "I'm sorry for crying. I don't usually cry when talking about her."

"You never need to apologize for crying. Showing emotion makes you human." Julie chuckled and nodded. Julie looked in front of her and checked the crêpe. She was using a homemade stove that consisted of a metal plate placed on top of two stacks of books and a few candles between the two stacks of books and under the plate.

Julie quickly moved the candles and grabbed the thin crêpe off the plate, being careful so she didn't burn her fingers. She used a knife to spread some of her whipped cream and spread it on the stack of crêpes before placing the final crêpe on top. "Can you grab your chocolate maker? I need some chocolate." Willy grinned widely before standing up and walking out of the room. In the short time Willy was gone Julie placed the photo back in the box and slid it under her bed.

"So what kind of chocolate would you like?" Willy asked as he placed his travel case on the desk, careful not to mess up Julie's set up.

"Do you have any chocolate that makes people feel nostalgic?" Julie asked and watched as Willy went to work.

✼ ҉ ✼ ҉ ✼

"Here you go." Willy handed Julie a few pieces of chocolate making her send him a smile.

"If I melt this it won't do anything to it?" Willy shook his head and watched as Julie placed them in a small bowl and held it over the candles.

"All done." Julie grinned as she drizzled the chocolate over the crêpe cake. "Go for it." Julie pushed the cake over to Willy and handed him a knife and fork. She had kept her nice plates and silverware in a suitcase so she was happy she finally got to use them. Julie watched in anticipation as Willy cut a small piece of the cake and placed it in his mouth. "I know you wanted a pastry but I would need an oven to make-"

"This is the best thing I have ever had." Willy stared at her awestruck. Julie's cheeks turned red as she shook her head.

"You don't need to lie. Your just tasting your chocolate on top." Julie chuckled making Willy shake his head.

"No. No. No. I barely had any chocolate. If this is something simple I can't wait to try something complicated!" Willy told her, excitement clear in his voice.

"Now you're over exaggerating my skills." Julie chuckled as she turned her head slightly. "But i'm glad you like it." Willy pushed the plate over to her. She grabbed another fork and cut i piece before placing it in her mouth. As soon as she swallowed the feeling of bittersweetness filled her body. She was happy and call but she couldn't help the longing feeling that filled her heart. "Your chocolate is amazing."

Willy chuckled. "Your..." Willy trailed off realizing Julie never told him the name of her creation.

"Crêpes"

"Your crêpes are amazing. My chocolate just added a final touch to it." Willy shook his head. "When I open my shop, I hope that you will join me and sell your creations."

"You have big dreams, Wonka. But I am just a baker. And this is all I ever will me." Julie smiled sadly.

"But you are so much more than that! With my chocolate and your pastries we could make amazing creations!" Willy told the girl in front of him. "I'm not saying you have to. I have no control over what you decide, but i'm asking you to think about it." Julie though for a minute before nodding lightly.

"I'll think about it." Willy cheered quietly not wanting to wake anyone on the floor. "Let's finish this and get to bed. You have chocolate to sell tomorrow."
