Chapter 28

His lips parted out of shock.

“What. . . ?” He became dumb for a moment.

I gave him my stoic look. Trying to act cool even with my ferocious heart.

“Did I heard it right?” He asked his self in disbelief.

I pretended to look at the stove in order to avoid his gaze.

“Are you going to cook something?” I asked.

He didn’t respond so I removed my hands off his neck and was about to head towards the refrigerator but before I could even get out— he immediately caught both my hands and pinned it on the island countertop.

“Repeat.” He commanded.

I gulped and pushed my head backward when he bend down his head in order for our eyes to equal.

“Are you going to cook something?” I repeated.

“Not that. Before that.”

“I want Goya.” I changed the topic.

“1 kiss, 100 goya.” He smirked.

I tried to steal my hands off him but his hands won’t budge.

“Okay.” I gave him a fast peck on his cheeks.

He bit his lower lip to curb the soon-to-rise corners of his lips.

“Not that. On lips.” He shook his head.

I bit my lower lip but I didn’t budge.

“You only said kiss, it’s your fault for being unspecific. That’s enough. Give me a chocolate.”

I shriek when he held my waist, side-to-side and lifted me to sit on the countertop.

“Shit, Grayson.” I cursed him.

He smirked and went near me. Now both our height is on the same level.

“Give me a kiss on the lips if you want Goya.”

I glared at him and was about to go down but he caught both of my hands, pinned it on the countertop and kissed the little space between us. Great, now both my legs are at the side of his hips.

“I know where that kiss is going to.” I said in a matter-of-fact.

He chuckled.

“Down there?”

My eyes widened a fraction but he laughed it off so I spanked his stomach with full of force.

And blushed.

That innocent looking laugh!

Thankfully, my phone rang and it saved me from blushing.

With my reflex, I answered the phone without looking at the screen name due to shyness.

“Hello?” I answered.

He was still laughing.

“Babe?” The girl sniffed on the line.

My forehead knotted and looked at the screen name and that’s when I realize it was Grayson’s phone.

Rhiana

That was the screen name.

“Someone’s calling.” I showed him the caller’s name.

“Answer it.” He shrugged after seeing the name.

“What do I say?” I asked.

I know that the girl on the line heard it but I don’t give a damn shit about it.
