Epilogue
"Alessia has a crush on you, Aiden!" Herra giggled and ran away away from my twin brother.
"Herra!" Alessia blushed and covered her face as she ran away too.
Cute.
My twin brother looked at me and smirked. I was behind our gate and was taking a peek at them, he knew I was listening.
"Your crush, crush me!" He laughed.
I pouted and scowled.
"I'm handsome than you!" I pointed myself.
"Whatever." He teased and went inside our house while I stayed on our front yard.
I'm shy to introduce myself.
"Hey, son. Why are you always looking at the pond?" Dad caught me waiting for someone.
"No, dad! I'm just—" I stopped after hearing Alessia's cry.
Dad's mouth parted and nodded so I pouted when he smirked at me.
"Do the moves, son." He tapped my shoulder and turned his back on me.
I'm just eight years old! No girlfriend first!
But yes to crushes. Hehe.
I took a peek at Alessia but she was crying while staring at the sunset. I'm behind the oak tree and I don't know what to say.
"Hi." I introduced.
But she didn't notice me because she was crying.
I pouted and sat beside her.
She shrieked.
Cute. Why is she so cute? I want to pinch her cheeks.
"Why you crying?" I asked her.
She looked at me while rubbing her eyes.
"Dad hurt mom."
I nodded because I don't know what to say next so I scratched my head.
"I can sing." I suddenly changed the topic.
"Huh?"
Cute.
"I can sing song. Want listen?" I asked with a smile.
She removed her hands off her eyes and raised a brow.
"Why would you?" Her sudden voice was scary.
My smile disappeared because she was scary so I gulped.
"You don't want to?"
"You flirting? I don't want man flirting. Mom said it's bad!" She rolled her eyes and crossed her arms.
Scary.
"Friends?" I asked in whisper, afraid of her if she doesn't want to.
She looked at me and squinted her eyes.
"You don't like me back?" She pouted.
What?
"I thought—"
"I crush you but no flirting, okay? Okay, sing me song." She nodded.
I pouted.
"I don't have guitar."
She rolled her eyes.
"I'll get my guitar?" I ask again because she was scary again.
She pouted and shook her head. It was silent not until her eyes went down to my shirt.
