Jules

After escaping from the tomb Stefan spent the night with Elena at her house.

They both slept in a little the next morning and were now just starting to wake up together.

Elena crawled out of bed and went to brush her teeth, Stefan watched her for a moment and then followed her into the bathroom.

He came up to her, hugging her sweetly from behind.

"What are you doing?" she asks.

"Showing you affection," Stefan says like it should be obvious before dipping his head down and kissing her shoulder.

"No, that isn't your 'I want to be cute and affectionate face,' that is your guilty face," Elena points out already knowing him so well.

When he looks away she knows her instincts are right and sighs.

"Please don't go after Isobel," She tells him.

When Elijah freed him last night he went over everything that had happened between him and Katherine when they had been trapped together and told her what she said about her bio mom.

"Katherine said Isobel could have some answers, I mean she did find Katherine maybe she could help us find Klaus," Stefan says turning Elena around to face him.

"But Isobel said Katherine was the one to seek her out when she turned... 'genetic curiosity,' remember?" Elena points out.

"I know trusting Katherine is never a wise choice but-"

"Then why are you?" Elena asks interrupting him getting frustrated.

"I have to do something, I can't just wait around until Klaus comes and we kill you, even if it is temporary every cell in my body is telling me to fight back, I can't let you get hurt, Elena," Stefan says.

"Please don't go looking for Isobel, alright? Do I have to remind you she compelled someone to kill themselves in front of me and kidnapped Jeremy? Whatever you want to know I trust Rose more than Isobel and Katherine put together, let's start there alright?" Elena asks and Stefan nods agreeing to her request.

Elsewhere in the next town over... a female werewolf was waking up.

Jules had arrived in Mystic Falls the night before trying to find Tyler, Mason's nephew, in time for the new moon but hadn't been successful. 

Not wanting to run up into the mountains for her change like usual she hung around close to town so she could keep looking for him the next day.

Staying nearby hadn't been a good thing for several campers however.

She wakes up lying in the woods naked soon discovering she is covered in blood from several of her mutilated victims from last night.

She "borrows" some of their clothes... the least torn ones anyway before piling them up to burn them.

Unfortunately, this is when a Police Officer arrives.

He gets out of his car and comes towards her.

She turns on the waterworks and kneels down on the ground in front of the bodies trying to act traumatized.

"Good morning. Is everything alright here?" He asks horrified by the scene and trying not to upset her more.

"It was an animal. A wolf. It came at us in the night," Jules explains.

It doesn't explain why the bodies are piled up or the clear evidence she was trying to start a fire tho.

"Are you okay?" The officer asks now sounding more suspicious of her.
