XXIIII

i woke up the next morning, i could hear the birds chirping and the smell of waffles being made in the kitchen. i slipped my dressing gown on and my slippers before heading downstairs. i must have fallen asleep as soon as we got back last night, i didn't sleep the whole flight so that's probably why i slept so long.

"goodmorning beautiful" lando cooed, pulling me into a hug.

"goodmorning" i replied.

we sat down at the table and began talking about our plans for the day. lando had some meetings he needed to attend on zoom and he said i could just spend the day exploring if i wanted two. knowing i was now safe over here, i decided to take the offer.

i got up and decided to head back to the bathroom to get myself ready for the day. i began googling some good secret spots in monaco but i couldn't seem to come across many. i decided to give the only real monegasque man i knew a call.

"Charles? good morning idiot" i chuckled.

"whoa its early, what can i help you with ness? boyfriend troubles?" he laughed.

"for starters, he isn't even my official boyfriend yet, im not here for a relationship lecture, im here to ask you if you know any of the good spots to visit in monaco? I've tried google but i can't seem to find anywhere sort of unknown, secret even" i let out, a tiny bit embarrassed.

"well, there is some great streets and hidden places filled with flowers, do you want me to come with you?" he asked.

"id like that, ill text you when i am leaving and i will come to yours." i replied.

i headed to the shower to freshen up, washing my hair in this tacky shampoo id had at landis from about four months ago that i brought in the airpot shop. i realised that i needed to also go nd get dome shopping today. i had a rough idea on where to go to get essential items after i went with ria and the quadrant boys that one time, oh god how much i miss them, i hope i get to see them all again soon.

once id finished in the shower i dried my hair and applied minimal makeup, i didnt have much makeup with me either and i knew id have to go out an buy more sooner rather than later so i added that to my to do list for today.

"lan, im popping out shopping with charles and going to explore, is that okay?" i questioned him.

"of course it is ness, you dont need to ask me if you can go out for gods sake. here ill send you some money so you can go and teat yourself."

"you really dont have to but thank you..." i cooed before getting the notification come through.

'i- lando i dont need 5 thousand?" i i said nervously.

"babe that's literally not even half of a days earnings, go out and treat yourself, i love you" he gushed.

"i love you too, thank you. ill keep in contact." i reassured.

i made my way to charles house, headphones in and taking a brisk walk. i didnt want to rush today, it was only 9 am so we basically had the entire day ahead of us.

"look whose here!' charles shouted opening the door.

"im alive and back in one piece!" i chuckled.

we set off on our little adventure, not knowing where today was going to take us. our first stop was prada, im not entirely sure why i wanted to go there first but that was where we ended up. i felt like everyones eyes were in me.

"good morning mr leclerc, who do we have here?" a tanned lady asked.

"this is nessa, she's knew around here, she's currently living with lando." he responded.
