All Jungkook wanted was to run after his beloved Taehyung. To chase him down the street, to be able to talk again. To hug him again. To kiss him for the first time. But his hopes are shattered when he realizes there's no way out of this building. Every time he tries to walk out he finds himself inside again. By the fifth try, he turns frustrated towards Jimin expecting him to be equally shocked. But instead, his neighbor is simply sitting on the first step of the stairs, watching him with a sad smile.

- Jimin? What the hell is going on?! Are you seeing this?!

The boy is about to answer but stops himself. He stares at Jungkook's tired expression. He's seen him desperate to go after Taehyung. And a decision is made. Jimin sighs before making a small signal for the other to come sit by his side. Confused but needing to know the truth, Jungkook obeys. There's a minute of silence before any of them talk.

- Do you know what a ghost is, Kook? It's a soul that still has something tying him to this world.

- An unfinished business

- Business sounds more cold than what it really is but yeah. And at the same time, ghosts are tied to a place as well. Like a cemetery, a hospital, a park...or their building...

- But Tae just walked out like there was no prob-

He starts putting two and two together. It's not Tae the one that's locked in this place. It's him. The news brings flashbacks of that night. He allows himself to remember the sequence when he pushed Tae away from the street. The pain in his head only lasted for a second when that car hit him.

- Did I...Am I dead?

Jimin denies with his head.

- Not yet. You're still in the hospital but your soul thinks you're dead. I couldn't understand it until I met you. The mere idea of losing Tae in that accident scared you so much, that you believed it happened.

- And you...How do you know all this?

- You're not the only one that's been dying.

Jimin hugs his legs as he tells his story. About how Yoongi's ex-wife tried to kill him. About how he ended up in the same hospital waiting for the day he could wake up again. About how hopeful Yoongi tries to be by his side as they wait for an organ donor.

- The reason I started talking to you is because Jin gave me the idea

- Jin?

- The ghost upstairs. He said maybe if I could make you talk to Tae your soul could move on and I would get a second chance...

- Am I your last hope? Are you...are you asking me to give up?

Jimin shows him a sad smile before looking away. He doesn't wanna cry. He already took this decision. And he knows it's the right one.

- No. I'm asking you to wake up.

- Really?! But then...you...

- I know.

- B-But Yoongi's waiting for you! He wants to propose, remember? There must be a way!

- Jungkook... I've seen you try it all just to hear Tae's voice again. I've seen you fight to get at least a second by his side. And I've heard Yoongi cry by my side in that hospital. I don't have the strength you have anymore. My wish is not to see him again. It's for him to move on. So he can stop spending every night of his life in a hospital chair holding my hand. And he can stop crying every time the medical results show him what's been meant to happen for so long...
