SHHH!
c. seungcheol

"he's coming up to your floor! copy, hawk! sparrow!"

beep...beep...beep

"can this thing shut up already?" seungcheol glared at the ticking bomb as he groaned in annoyance, pacing around the empty room while keeping an eye out on the nearby window of the abandoned building.

"you're too noisy." you whispered incoherently, biting the handle of a plier since you had run out of hands, as you hurriedly searched for the red wire you were meant to cut.

"you have to hurry up. i can hear them." the man grumbled at you, stretching his body as the footsteps approaching got louder and louder.

secretly praying to god, you cut the red wire. the beeping didn't halt, making you frown and back away slowly from the bomb.

"shit- i think i-"

"hawk!"

your eyes widened as you instantly ducked, swiveling around to face your enemy who was armed with an unusually long knife.

"hey, it's not cool to sneak up on people like that." you playfully gasped, dodging their advances effortlessly, slipping in between their legs and kicking them from the back. without a second to spare, another man grabbed your arm from behind you but you spun it around and managed to fracture his arm instead, decorated with a swift kick to the nice spot and making him crumble to the ground.

seungcheol had already been fighting three different men, one previously armed with a gun that he got him to drop, and two who engaged in close combat. the three you just saw him struggling with had suddenly all been covered in bruises and fell limp on the floor.

"ha, three to two." seungcheol teased, his dimples proudly showing as the ego oozed out of him.

"shut the hell up, i was defusing a goddamn bomb." you uttered in annoyance.

"now, now, hawks and sparrow. the famous duo!"

"not this bitch.." you whined, turning your head to the stairs where a man in his late fifties revealed himself with a smirk.

seungcheol gave you a knowing look, before the man continued,

"i haven't seen you since the two of you threw me in jail! well, i got out. the police sure are reliable." the man chuckled, pulling out a loaded gun.

"woah, are you too scared to fight on the same level?" seungcheol quickly put his hands up in mockery, already sick of this man's bullshit.

"ah, choi seungcheol. you're funny! i guess you're going first." the gun pointed straight as seungcheol's head, but the smirk on his face didn't leave.

a shot sounded through the area, followed by the sounds of sirens. people were heard shouting in terror and whispers of conspiracy flooded the surroundings of the building you were in. black cars were seen driving up to the scene and rushing up the stairs.
