YOU
l. jihoon

"okay, thank you." jihoon spoke into the mic to the idol on the other side of the glass. the producer sighed in relief, knowing that the song that was going to be released soon was nearing it's end. the first few weeks of album preparation was always stressful, but it was always worth it when the album does well, and he gets more time off than usual right after an album releases.

jihoon had been working as a music producer and composer under HYBE Labels for a few years now under the stage name, WOOZI. the genius-songwriter had always pursued his love for music, making him take a degree in it and finally his work online getting easily recognized from big companies. his name is now under hundreds of songs and multiple albums of various artists; even outside his company and industry.

lee jihoon was a force to be reckoned with.

and y/n thought the same.

the studio door opened, you peeked through the small gap you made for herself as you sheepishly took a quick scan of the room to make sure it was jihoon's usual studio. you've been here million's times before, but if not in his universe factory; he would be in different studios from time to time. hybe was a huge company, you didn't want to risk upsetting any idols or staff, even though some of them seem to recognize you at this point, always relating you back to jihoon.

"jihoon-ah?" you called out softly, the boy's head swivelling around to spot you. he hummed, blinking with heavy eyelids which was a sign that you could come in. carrying a bag of food, you walked toward the boy in the chair and dumped it on his desk. jihoon rested his head on your stomach, you standing up and him sitting down. you ran your hands through his hair gently, giving the boy your presence as comfort.

everybody thinks you both were dating when it actual truth; both of you were simply clingy ever since you met each other super young. you clicked instantly, so much so that you both met almost everyday since your mothers were best friends who lived nearby.

from daycare to school to college and then uni, you and jihoon were stuck with each other. only when you both chose different career paths did you start meeting less. although, jihoon has pretty much moved in with you. if he wasn't at his studio or at his mother's, he was at your apartment. he had his own room and all his necessities there by default. he only stopped coming over the past three months or so because of your boyfriend out of respect.

the two of you have always acted like this. to you, it was the norm. jihoon is your person, you are his.

"thank you, y/n" jihoon mumbled into your stomach before lifting his head and letting his hands dive into the plastic bag. his mumble tickled your stomach, making you pinch his cheek but the boy showed no reaction, only offering to feed you a bite of some kimchi fried rice you bought at his favourite restaurant.

you dragged a chair up to the table as you took a few bites while you watched jihoon eat. jihoon devoured his meal well, giving you the last bite before drinking the soup until the bowl was fully dry.

"did you not eat today?" you asked with a frown as the boy leaned back in his chair in satisfaction, a peaceful look on his face as he chewed the last bits of his meal.

"i didn't have time." jihoon spoke, covering his face with his hand. you clicked your tongue in disappointment as he waved his hand in dismissal, his way of asking you to get off his back.
