"Please pick up K. Please please pick up."
"Hey you have reached K and I'm not here right now and my parents cut my allowance so I had to lay off my serectary so if you could leave a message and maybe a couple bucks that would be great. K bye."
"K I have the bestest news in the entire world that I need to talk to you about!! Please please call me back or send a smoke signal telling me I can come over... anything! Please Kay I need to talk to you... like pronto. Okay goodbye." With that I hung up the phone and walked over to my window. I sat on my bed staring out at the sky. I didn't know what I was looking for, but I was looking for something. Then I heard a russling in the big oak tree. I opened my window because I knew who it was. I reached for her hand, but she refused my offer. All I heard was five words.
"Lidi, we need to talk."
"No duh Sherlock (did I spell that right?). Here come in, I'll go tell someone that you're here so they don't freak if they happen to come up here." I walked into the media room where all three boys were working on a new song.
"Hey guys..." I studdered not wanting to disterb them.
"Hey Lidi. What's up" Nick said looking slightly concerned. I never came in while they were writing because I didn't want to distract them.
"Sorry to bother you, but I thought I should tell you that Kay is over."
"When did she get here?" Nick asked suprised.
"How did she get here?" Kev piled on to the questions.
"She got here like five minutes ago, and she climbed the oak tree Kev use your brain. Can she stay?"
"Yes, but maybe next time you should maybe tell us first and tell her to use the door." Joe warned.
"But that's so lame." I sarcasticly remarked. All three shot me a warning glance and I knew to stop. I walked back up stairs to find Kay looking through my closet. It made me smile. At least she didn't completely hate me.
"Hey Kay, they said you could stay. I need to explain some stuff." I said starting the conversation hesitantly, I didn't want to push the subject too much.
