Hey guys!! It's Elizabeth here :) Just wanted to give you all a huge hug!! And thought I would let you know that I have had writers block so if this chapter isn't as good as you wanted it to be I am really really sorry!! KK i'll stop talking now. Hope you like this chapter. Tell me your thought as suggestions on where to go next.

*Lidi's point of view*

The officers took down everything they needed and asked if there was anyone who could sign for Kayla while they found her a place to live.  Kay said everyone lived out of town, but that was it.  Nick asked the office if we could have just a couple of minutes and maybe we could work something out.  The officers and Nick walked away and left Keay and I alone. 

"Lidi.  I don't want to live with foster parents.  I can't leave school, or you, or anything.  I love it here to much." Kay fell into my arms sobbing.  Well, the sobbing part wasn't new she had been crying since we got here.  Nick walked back over before I had a chance to say something. 

"Come on girls. Big Rob is going to drive us home and I'll call the school and let them know what it going on."  

"Wait does that mean she is going to stay with us for a while?" I asked nervous about the answer that was coming. 

"Yes, Lidi that means she is coming with us.  She will stay with us until they figure out what's next.  Come on let's go."  The drive home was chillingly quiet.  But, as soon as we walked through the door that all changed.  Nick didn't walk in until later because he needed to talk to Big Rob about something. 

"Come on.  You can stay in the guest room for now." I said heading up the stairs and turning into the guest room. 

*Joe's Point of View*

I heard foot steps coming up the stairs and Lidi's voice? She was supposed to be at school. Do I hear Kay too? You would think if they were going to ditch they wouldn't come home... Well it's time to teach her a lesson. 

"Lidi! I need to talk to you." I yelled down the hall.  If she thought she could ditch she was wrong. 

"Okay Joe, one sec." Lidi called back. 

"No! Now!" I was steaming now. 

"Joe, what is your problem? I was talking to Kay." She said her attitude screaming from the inside.

"The school called today..." I started waiting for her expression to come accross her face that she was caught. "You um never showed up to first. Do you care to explain." 

"The school calls when you don't show up to class?! Now I'm deffinatly not ever going to ditch." 

"You ditched today! Never has already passed!" That last sentence came out a little more harsh then planed, but I guess the situation needed it. Mom and Dad wern't home and the other two would take it to easy on her. I needed to be the one that steps up.

"Joe!"

"What?!" We were both yelling at eachother now.

"Joe. I can't believe you! You really think I would ditch school? I can't believe this esspecially after the morning I just had. You know what. I'm not going to tell you where I was this morning. You can find out for yourself. I'm going to my room." Tears rolling down her eyes. 

"And I hope you plan on staying there until mom and dad get home and can talk to you about this. Oh, and you can tell Kay she can go home becuase you're stuck in your room for the rest of the day."

"I can't." That's all she said as she left the room crying. I heard the door close and Nick in the kitchen. I walked downstairs to fill him in on the last ten minutes. 

"Hey." I started not wanting to startle him.

"Hey. Did you hear what happend?" He asked.

"No, but I need to talk to you about somethin really important."

"Shoot." He said wondering what could be so important. 

"Lidia and Kay ditched school. And then Lidia had the nerve to yell at me when I asked her why. I sent her to her room until mom and dad get home, and told her to tell her to tell Kayla to go home because her and Lidi can't hang..." 

"DUDE! YOU DID WHAT?!" Nick was flipping out. I thought I handled this appropriatly. 

"Lidi called Big Rob and the police this morning because Kayla couldn't take her family anymore! Dude I called mom and Kayla is staying with us for a while until they get everything settled. You just made a really big mistake Joe. Now you are going to have to fix this. Nice going man, you've officially dug yourself a hole you can't rock climb out of." Nick finally took a breath and walked away. I was speechless and didn't know how I was going to fix this, but I knew I had to. This explained why Lidi looked so hurt when I told her to tell Kay to go home. I felt like the biggest jerk in the world. Uhg. My life right now... sucks.
