*A month later*
Lidi's P.O.V
I was laying on my bed writting in my journal when the curtain on my bunk flew open, revealing a some what creepy happy Kayla.
"Care to explain why you just disrupted the quiet in this place?" I asked giving her a questioning look.
"Oh shut up you'll get over it. Scoot." She said pushing me over and climbing up sitting next to me.
"What could possibly be soo important?" I asked rolling my eyes hoping this wasn't going to be another one of those don't ever leave my side cuz Joe and I just watched a scary movie and now I'm scared the fill-in-the-blank-monster is out to get me weeks. Her and Joe watched a scary movie two weeks ago and niether of them would go into a room if the lights were off and the air was the slightest bit chilly evidently cold air is considered "paranormal".
"This is too important!" Kay said shaking me from my mental rant. "Look at this text message." She said shoving her phone in my face forcing me to read the words on the screen. It was from my boyfriend Cody. It said: Hey I'm setting you up on a blind date. Get over it you're going. He will be at the next venue you guys stop at. He will have 1 red rose. He knows who you are so don't worry about it. Have fun. :)
"Who do you think it is?" I asked smiling. This was so romantic. The red rose, the blind date, the meeting us at our next venue, the fact that Kay will no longer have an excuse to mope when she's alone and I go out with Cody on our breaks. Freedom will be mine. If only this would work out. She was giggly as she jumped out of my bunk.
"I have to go find something to wear! How long til we get there?" She asked about ready to explode of happiness.
"Calm child. You have two hours to get ready." I said. She looked cute already, but I knew that it was no use trying to convince her she didn't need to change so I let it go.
