Time to go home again. The training was over. I was with Jess in the kiosk refreshing after the exhausting practice. A bike stopped in front of us.

“I’ll take you home.” I stared at the guy who was riding on the motorcycle.

                “Don’t you have gig?”

“It doesn’t matter, you’re more important than those gigs.”

Wow! That’s new. J Sounded sweet, wasn’t it?

                “Jess…”

“I can manage myself, you go with him.” Jess gave me a smile.

                “You sure?”

                “Yeah. Take care.”

Matt got my things from the bench. “We’ll go ahead, Jess.” Then I walked with Matt to his motorbike.

When we’re on the street near our subdivision, Matt stopped in front of a convenience store.

“Let’s go inside. We’ll buy something.” He said.

I didn’t spoke; I just followed him as he walked inside the store. We headed to the freezer. Matt seemed to be looking for something. Then he opened the freezer and got a big pack of potato fries. I wasn’t speaking. Matt continued walking and went to the bottled section where he got salad dressing and ketchup.

                “Do you want nachos?”

“No, I’m still full. Are you going to hang out with Bernard?” I said curiously.

“No, I’ll hang out with you.”

                Ha? With me?

“With me? In our house? Carlo isn’t there yet. You can’t play Xbox alone.”

“I won’t be playing Xbox; I’ll be playing with you.” He grinned. I hate that grin! Cause it’s making me fall even more with that wicked guy.

“Come on I’ll pay for this. Do you want anything more?”

“None. Just stay beside me and I’ll be gratified.” He smiled at me. What did I say? Absurd.

He put his hand on my waist and we walked to the counter. Gosh I felt blushing. J

When we left the store, he drove to my house. Nobody was home, Charlotte was on the town buying goods. Matt wasn’t letting go of my hand. We sat on the couch his head lying on my shoulder.

“Let’s cook the potato fries.” I said.

“Let’s stay this way first. I love it.”

“You love it more than you love me, huh?” I was just teasing him.

He looked at me, no, he stared at me then suddenly he kissed me on the lips. I was speechless. When his lips left mine, he stared at me again but I avoided his stare. I was blushing. J

“You’re blushing.” Then he chuckled. I tapped him on the shoulder the smirked.

“You are soooooo….” I didn’t continue my sentence instead I kissed him on his lips. The kiss we had was very ardent. Full of love. Then suddenly my phone rang. He let go of me. I got my phone and read the message, it’s from Carlo. I can’t go home tonight.
