Amy left the house at half hour after nine in the morning. She had to go back to work and I was left alone in the house, but I will be seeing my friend Antoinette in the town later. Amy told me how to get in there last night. She told me where I could find the bus stop to get in the town.
Antoinette told me she was on her way to Limoges town with his boyfriend. They had to leave their place earlier than me because they still had some things to do, and I would just meet them in one of the places in town.
Alice, I’m on my way with my boyfriend. We’ll be there in thirty minutes.
I prepared myself after rereading Antoinette’s message sent few minutes ago. Technically I’ll be in Limoges town almost the same time Antoinette would be arriving. I wore my jeans and boots and a shirt and sweater on top. I also placed my scarf. It was cold outside, the snow got thicker and thicker and the temperature was more freezing.
After looking at the full sized mirror I got my purse and went out of the house. The bus stop was just few meters away from the house so I preferred to walk, good thing there was already bus on the bus stop heading to Limoges town. I entered the bus and luckily found a seat.
I checked my phone again; there was a message from Antoinette.
We’ll meet you in Le Bouef a la Mode, it’s just in Limoges town.
Le Bouef a la Mode? That was the restaurant Amy had told me last night. It was one of the best restaurants in Limoges. I knew how to get in there. Amy instructed and suggested me to ask Antoinette to go there and there it goes.
I replied Antoinette’s message and told her I was on my way too.
While on my seat I kept looking at the highway. Almost the entire place was covered with snow. Looking at the people in the bus, they all looked bright and pleasant. All of them were wearing a sweater and a scarf.
“Où allez- vous dame?” I turned my head to look at the person who spoke. An aged woman was smiling at me. [Où allez- vous dame?: Where are you going lady?]
“A Limoges ville. Repaire quec des amis.” I gave her a charming smile. The woman nodded. She was carrying a paper bag full of goods. [A Limoges town. Repaire quec des amis.: To Limoges ville. Hang-out with friends]
“Alice? What are you doing here?” I looked up facing the guy talking. No, it couldn’t happen. What was this guy doing here? Why was he in here? What Matt was here?
“I should ask you that! What are you doing here?” My voice was cold.
“I used to dine here.” Matt seemed so casual.
He looked more handsome and more mature. His body has built even better. Gosh my heart was beating unusual. I wanted to jump into him and kiss him, but I should not. There was something inside my mind that kept telling me I should slap him and be mad at him, it kept reminding me of what he did to me three years ago. But the other side of my mind kept on screaming I should embrace him and get over what he had done before.
