Today is the day. I have been dreaming about since I was a kid. I'm signing for Arsenal, it's not my first pro contract but I've dreamt of playing for Arsenal all my life and today's the day it comes true.
I am so nervous I've just arrived at the Arsenal training grounds where i will be officially signing my contract and getting pictures done. As I get out of my car I see Jonas walking out he must have been waiting for me. " Hello Izzi, we are so happy to have you here if you'll just follow me we can go sign the contract and get all the media done then you can meet the team." I just smile at him and say " Thank you, I am very happy to be here and I can't wait to meet the girls." Really I'm kinda nervous though I don't know what the girls will think of me I'm kinda aggressive on the pitch and have tackled a few of them when I played for man city.
I'm officially a gooner. I just finished signing my contract and doing all the media that was needed.
"So this is the locker room..." Jonas continues talking as we walk " and this is the training grounds the girls have training right about... now actually" he says chuckling. "Come follow me and you can meet the girls"
"Okay sounds good" we both start walking onto the pitch where the girls are currently standing talking.
"Girls" Jonas says getting there attention " we have our new signing here today everyone meet Izzi Charles!"
They all turn and look at me and give me a smile. Thank god. That makes me feel a lot better.
" Hi I'm Izzi Charles..." I start introducing myself but get interrupted by Kyra Colney-Cross.
"Dude we know you're fucking unreal" I laugh at that but hear a bunch of murmurs of "ya" and "you are".
" I- uh thanks guys" I say.
As I'm saying that I hear running come from behind me. I turn around and I'm meant by my best friend Lotte who is closely followed by Alessia who I've only seen in a match.
When Lotte and Alessia come up to us still not having seen me Lotte starts saying "I'm so sorry we're late. This one..." pointing to Alessia "...still doesn't really know her way around." The girls just giggle at them that's when Lotte finally looks at the girls and me. " I-Izzi" she runs and jumps onto me hugging me like I'm gonna disappear. Truth is we haven't seen eachother in months and we are very close.
" W-What are you doing here? How long are you gonna be staying?" Lotte asks still hugging me but is standing now.
"Lotts I'm staying here." I tell her and she looks up at me.
"You're the new signing?!" She asks sounding very excitedly and full of hope.
"Yup, guess you're stuck with me for a while." I say teasing her.
The girls laugh at that.
"Well you better get training I've already made you lot behind we can talk after."
