The girls have just finished training and I was told to go sit in the chill room. So that's where I am.
As I'm sitting here on my phone Lotte comes running in and hits me with another hug. Mumbling "I've missed you so much."
"I've missed you to Lotts." I say laughing.
The girls closely follow and when they walk in the room they see Lotte still hugging me.
Beth then says " well aren't you just a cuddle bug." I start picking my skin around my nails. A nervous tick kinda thing I do.
Lotte then sits up and says "Izzi doesn't actually like hugs or hand holding but me and her family can get a hug out of her" she says teasing a little to ease my nerves.
I've always been so grateful for Lotte we've been through a lot together. She's helped me open up and I've helped her with her panic attacks and things.
"Oh my, Viv is just like that as well." Beth says
Viv behind her just says "Yup" popping the P and sitting down and pulls Beth onto her lap.
Laughing you say "Well I'm guessing you guys wanna ask me questions or som-" I got cut off by Kyra again.
" Why'd you pick Arsenal?" Kyra says and Caitlin says laughing "Stop interrupting her" while putting an arm around her.
"Sorry" Kyra mumbles out.
"No it's alright, I chose Arsenal cause it's always been my dream I had other offers but when I saw one from Arsenal I knew I had to take it." I said trying to explain my choice a bit.
"What other clubs gave you an offer if you don't mind me asking" Leah Williamson who I've known for awhile asks.
" Your good I'm an open book" I say laughing a bit.
" But I got offers from a few clubs. Man city wanted to re-sign me but I needed something new I also had offers from Lyon, Man U, PSG, Barcelona, Bayern, and a few others."
As I said that their mouths hung open.
"Catching flys?" I tease them.
They all close their mouths and laugh.
Leah then says "But out of all of the clubs you chose Arsenal. Why?"
I then explain to them " I chose Arsenal because I liked the place and the way you all play and treat one another and i guess it helped Lotte is here." I tease my friend who has still yet to let go of me.
"I am pretty great" Lotte says back.
The girls laugh. We continue talking for awhile before one of the girls ask " would you ever go back to Man City?"
Lotte tenses at that and holds me tighter we've always been close we're practically sisters and it sucks being apart so I know it was hard on her.
I tell the girls " no I don't think I would right now I'm happy here and I just can't wait to start playing."
The girls keep talking and goofing off but Lotte still hasn't let go.
I lean down and whisper to Lotte "You know I'm not leaving right"
She relaxes a bit and says " I know I've just missed you and I don't wanna think about you leaving again anytime soon."
" it's alright mate I've missed you to. But I'm not leaving anytime soon."
