Tonight we're going out to eat with a bunch of the arsenal girls. When we arrive I get out and open Alessia's door for her as well as Ella's which they both thank me for and then we head inside. When we get inside I give the front desk my card before the girls can even try to pay.
"They're gonna be mad at you again." Alessia says.
"They just think they're mad, but they secretly love it." I say laughing. Alessia takes my hand and we start walking over to the girls.
"Hey guys!" Beth greets us and Kyra's head turns around so fast.
"Oh no." I mutter. Alessia and Ella laugh and then I'm crushed with a hug from Kyra.
"I'm beginning to think I'm your favorite." I say smugly.
We break away from the hug and Kyra says "you're my favorite non Aussie." Kyra says and sits back down i just laugh and I pull out Alessia and Ella's chairs and we sit down.
"You guys look great!" Leah says.
I smile and Alessia says "Thanks Le."
The rest of the girls come and we order our food and talk. The restaurant is really nice but I'm just watching football on the tv by the bar.
"Izzi." Leah says. Oh my god it's us on the tv. I thought it looked familiar.
"Izzi." Leah said again. Boom. Dang that goal did look good.
"Thats izzi alright" Lotte said.
"Izzzziiii" Katie dragged out.
" Where the hell is she?" Ella says.
Alessia laughs and pokes my side. I turn to Alessia and say "what's up babe?" The girls start laughing.
"They've been calling for you." Alessia says pointing at Leah and Katie.
"Oh shit sorry. What's up?" I say confused.
"Nothing what got your attention anyway? Usually it's Alessia." Leah teases. I don't say anything back knowing it's true. She's just so beautiful.
"Oh I was watching our game from the other day." I say and point at the tv.
"Like watching yourself?" Katie teases.
"Ha ha" I say with a glare.
"She actually watches herself a lot." Alessia says and laughs a bit as well as the girls.
"Oi for good reason though. I do it so I can see what I could've done better and to see how I can improve my game." I explain and continue with "Its also how I study other players as well. That's how I know how they're gonna defend me." I explain which they knew about that part. But they look intrigued.
"Is that how you and less found that opening in our game against Tottenham?" Leah asks.
"Ya I saw how they were leaving spaces and saw a few mistake and told less and she agreed since we saw it when we were watching some film. So we just used it to our advantage." I explain.
"Huh cool." Kyra says and we keep eating.
Soon enough the waiter comes over and says to have a goodnight.
"He didn't even give us the bill." Leah says confused. Lotte just looks straight at me and smiles which I return with a cheeky one. I stand up and push my chair in and grab Alessia's hand to help her up.
"Do you guys wanna go do something?" I ask but they're all just sitting there again but now they're glaring at me. They said they wanted to go on a walk or something after this.
"I think they know." Alessia says in my ear. I laugh and turn back to them and smile.
"Thank you." Leah says and gets up. The other girls get up and say about the same thing.
"You guys aren't mad?" I say surprised.
"We all know you'd never let us pay so no point in fighting." Beth says.
"Finally." I say and laugh.
"You never let them pay either?" Ella asks laughing.
"Never." Viv says.
"If I'm here I'm paying. I've told you this tooney." I say as we all start walking out.
"But why?" Ella asks surprised and it looks like the girls wanna know too.
"Because I think the little things matter. It's just my way of showing I care. I don't express it but I try to show I do." I explain. As we get outside I switch sides with Alessia and she grabs my arm again.
"You are so different than I thought you'd be." Beth says as we walk out.
"Alessia said that before too." I say and shrug.
"Ya we thought you be really cocky and mean to be honest." Caitlin and says and the girls shake the head. "But you're like the total opposite. You're like the most humble person even though you're literally the best player in the world."
I cut her off and say "I'm not I just have the best team." I say as a fact.
"See!" Katie says I just shake my head.
"Thanks but uh let's stop talking about me. I mean I know I'm pretty great but let's chill." I say teasing. The girls laugh.
"Guys are you sure you wanna go on a walk?" I ask.
"Why?" Katie says.
"We're gonna get mugged.Were all dressed up and most of you are wearing heels I don't feel like beating some moron up tonight. Why don't we go back to mine and less' house and just chill if you guys want." I explain.
"That's probably the best idea." Lotte says.
The girls agree and we get in our cars and head to mine and Alessia's house.
