41. Thinking

We made it to the hotel an hour ago Alessia and I have just been cuddling and scrolling on tiktok. Since the conversation on the bus I've been thinking about playing with England again. It's not like I never wanted to stop. Things just got in the way. But I don't know what to do now.

"Babe." Alessia says getting my attention.

"What huh." I say.

"I can hear the gears turning. What's up." Alessia says in a soft voice.

"Just thinking about what we talked about on the bus." I explain.

"Wanna talk about it?" Alessia asks.

"it's alright babe I'm gonna be out on the pitch for a bit. I love you." I say and give her a kiss before I leave she say "I love you." I blow her a kiss and grab my bag and head down to the pitch that's outside the hotel.

I stretch and warm up. Once I'm done I start drilling balls into the back of the net trying to let out some stress. I'm trying to figure out what I wanna do but I just don't know. Am I even good enough? I do some other drills as well but get bored quick and continue drilling balls into the back of the net from multiple spots with both feet. I don't realize how long I've been training until Alessia walks up to me and says "I've yelled for you a few times babe and called you."

"I'm sorry babe I didn't even realize how late it was I've just been training. I'm sorry I got you worried." I say softly.

"It's alright baby but how about we have a little kick about yeah?" Alessia says she can tell something on my mind but doesn't push it. Which I really appreciate.

"Of course." I say and take the ball from under Alessia's foot.

I start to narrate every single thing I do, making Alessia laugh. I fucking love her laugh.

"Charles has the ball! What will she do with it? She megs Alessia Russo that's what, and she's dribbling all the way down the field! Looking for a goal! And she finds it! The crowd goes wild! Izzi! Izzi! Izzi!"

We go back and forth for awhile, scoring goals on each other while trash talking and teasing one another. Alessia and I couldn't stop laughing the whole time we played.

"Izz has the ball, Izzi Charles for the shot! She scores and Charles wins the game!" I say through laughs.

"So not fair!" Alessia says, but she was laughing too. Alessia pouts and we both starting laughing and fall to the ground. After a few minutes we finally calm down, and I look over at Alessia and pull her into me so we're cuddling in the middle of the pitch. I wanna do this with her. I wanna play along side her but for our country.

"I love you princess." I say and kiss her forehead.

" I love you too iz." Alessia says and gives me a kiss.  After a few moments I say "I think I wanna play for England again."

Alessia sits up and says sounding super excited "really?!"

"Ya I mean I never wanted to stop things just got in the way and I would love to be able to play with ella and Mary as well as the other girls. Especially you, it would be a dream." I explain.

"Yay I'm so excited hopefully Sarina calls you next week. I've always hating spending time at camps away from you." Alessia says and lays on me again.

"Me too princess but hopefully I'll be with you now. But let not tell the girl cause if I do get in I wanna surprise them." I say and kiss her forehead. Alessia agrees and we lay together cuddling.

An annoying hissing sound interrupted our little moment and all of a sudden we were being drenched in water. Alessia and I jump up and Immediately we both burst out laughing.

"Race you back?!" I say as both of us already soaked from head to toe. Alessia looks so adorable.

"You're on!" We both ran back laughing the entire time. The hotel staff are pretty confused when two of us run in soaked and laughing. We run  through the lobby and into the elevator. I don't think either of know what time it was, but I'm having to much fun to care and so is lessi.

As soon as we stepped out of the elevator, we were met with the stern faces of the girls. Alessia and I froze, our hair and clothing dripping. I look at Alessia and we both just start laughing.

"WHERE HAVE YOU GUYS BEEN?" Katie yells.

"We've been looking for you!" Beth says and the girls nod.

"And what the hell has happend to you both?" Kyra says.

Alessia and I start laughing again and I say " I'm sorry guys. Less and I were just having a little kick about and lost track of time."

"It's alright. Maybe just tell us before though and why are you guys soaked it's not even raining?" Leah says confused.

"The sprinklers turned on." Alessia say and the girls laugh.

"Of course they did." Lotte says laughing.

I see Alessia start to shiver so I say "We better go change but we'll be down for supper." The girls all say bye and Alessia starts walking to our room. Of course Alessia being Alessia she slips and I catch her before she hits the ground.

"Falling for me again less?" I tease. The girls behind us laugh.

"Shut up." Alessia says blushing. I pull her up and hold her.

"Bye again." I yell to the girls and I carry Alessia to our room.

*the girls in the hallway*

"There seriously so perfect for one another" Beth says. The girls agree with her.

"Do you guys see all the little things they do for one another it's seriously adorable." Steph says.

"I know right izzi is really just a softie with muscles." Katie says.

"She is." Lotte says. The girls laugh.

"But I don't think they realize it even. Like izzi just thinks it's normal to open Alessia's door, pay for meals, and stand on the road side of the side walk. And Alessia doesn't even realize what she does either like when izzi forgets her shirt or boots and Alessia just knows and has it for her or when izzi gets bored or spaced out Alessia lets her fiddle with her hand or something."

"Ya and how izzi always has to get Alessia flowers when we're out and Alessia has to get izzi her favorite chocolate milk." Lotte says adding to the conversation.

"They do?" Beth says.

"Yes. Izzi always has to stop and get flowers before we head back home when we hang out." Kyra says with a smile and Lotte nods.

"Aww" the girls say.

"And I feel like izzi has been open with us more don't you guys think?" Caitlin's asks.

"Yes, I mean look on the bus today she opened up and talked to us." Viv says. The girls nod and Lotte says "She loves you guys. She may not say it but she does. Alessia has definitely changed her but you guys have as well. She has never been this open before not even with the city girls and she was there for 7 years."

The girls all seem a bit shocked but smile.

"I just love them." Vic says.
