48. Pre-game - Australia friendly

Today we play Australia in a friendly match and I couldn't be more excited. I get to play for my country with the love of my life and some of my best friends.

I woke up with Alessia on top of me like I do everyday. I love it. She was still asleep and so I decided to just lay there until she woke up. I wrap my arms around her and just relax. She looked so peaceful when she was asleep. I fucking love this girl. I want to marry her and give her a perfect life. I want to wake up to her for the rest of my life. Alessia soon started stirring so I kissed her forehead and she relaxes.

"Morning baby, we've got to get up." I tell Alessia.

"Five more minutes please I wanna cuddle." Less whispers softly.

"I can't say no to a cuddle." I give in and hold her tight.

"How are you feeling about today?" Alessia whispers as we lay together.

"I feel great I can't wait to play with the girls. But I'm really excited to get to play for our country together." I say.

"Me too babe." Alessia says as she starts to wake up more.

*time skip*

After waking the other girls up Alessia and the girls ended up ordering our food up to our room and we ate together.

We head downstairs to leave for the game and as we walk in, I notice how almost everyone is down in the lobby waiting.

"Why is everyone down here? I thought they be on the bus." I whisper so only the girls can hear.

"I don't know." Alessia says and grabs my arm again.

"I thought the same thing." Mary says and Ella nods.

"THE LIVE BIRDS ARE HERE!." Beth shouts from across the lobby.

"Hell yeah we are!" I say and raise my hand that has Alessia's in it. The girls laugh.

"Shoosh." Less whines but everyone can tell that she loves it by the big smile and blush on her face.

I wrap my arm around her waist and we walk towards a free chair next to Lotte. I sit down in the chair and pull Alessia onto my lap.

"So why are we all here and not on the bus ?" I ask, turning to Lotte.

"The bus broke down so we're waiting for another one." She explains.

"Ok." I say with a shrug and lay back. Alessia lays back as well and I just hold her and drift off.

*time skip*

Once we had arrived at the King Power Stadium, we had a team meeting and before I knew it, we were heading out for the pitch inspection. I entered the pitch and take a look around with the girls until I hear...

"IZZI!!" Kyra yells and jumps onto me. I grab her and hold her.

"Hey ky." I say. She drops down from my hold after a minute or two.

"So are you ready to get your ass kicked?" I say to Kyra laughing.  Kyra rolls her eyes and gives me a little shove.

"OI you told Kyra to annoy me!" Caitlin yells and runs and jump on my back.

"Kyra you snitch!" I say laughing. Caitlin jumps down and gives me a hug. The girls all laugh at us.

"Sorry cait." I say.

"No you're not." She deadpans.

"No I'm not." I say and laugh Alessia hits my arm. I just smile sheepishly at her.

"Stephyy!" Beth yells and runs to Steph. After talking to the girls for a few we start to head back to the locker room.

I'm fucking pumped. Alessia can tell since I'm getting more jumpy. She just grabs my arm and rubs it. I kiss her forehead and we head into the locker room.

*time skip*

After warm up we all went back into the locker room and took off our warm ups now Sarina is giving us a pre game speech. Leah has a speech as well.

We stand in line ready to go out. Alessia is behind me and Mary is in-front of me. The Australia player come and walk up beside us. Before we walk out I turn around and give Alessia our pre game kiss on the cheek and I whisper "I love you princess."

"I love you too." Alessia says and we all start walking out. When we walk out the fans start screaming. We line up sing our national anthems and the captains do their thing and soon enough we all take a knee and the game is off.
