33. Movie night

Today Alessia and I invited all the girls over to our house for a movie night. So Alessia and I set up our theater room with blankets and pillows since the girls are staying the night we also picked up there favorite snacks. Right now Alessia is talking to Ella and I'm just making us some lunch before the girls get here later.

"Less do you want a salad with your pasta?" I ask from the kitchen.

"No I'm alright thank you though." Alessia says.

"Of course babe. It's time to eat by the way." I say and look up and see Alessia still on the phone.

"Hey Ella are you eating with us?" I ask since sometimes we eat over FaceTime together.

"Ya what'd you make?" Ella asks.

"Pasta how about you?" I ask as I pull out a chair for Alessia and I and we sit down.

"I'm having takeout but izzi guess what?" Ellla says sounding very excited. Alessia laughs but is used to our child like behavior.

"What's up?" I say matching her excitement.

"Well after our game next week I have time off so I'm gonna stay in London for a few a few days!" Ella says

"What for real? You can stay here if you want!" I tell Ella. We've gotten pretty close since Alessia and I started dating.

"I know I already planned to with Alessia." Ella says I look at Alessia and say "you knew?"

Alessia nods

"You can keep a secret?" I say suprised Ella just laughs.

"Yes I can. I didn't tell you by the way because Ella wanted to tell you." Alessia says laughing.

"Well I can't wait!" I say.

Alessia, Ella and I talk for a while until she has to go.

*time skip*

"Izzi!" Alessia yells.

"What's up pri-" I start to say as I walk out but then I see some of the girls are here. "Hey guys." I get a bunch of greetings back.

"So whatcha guys been up to?" Beth asks as we all sit down on the couch.

"Nothing much. Just was chilling and we had lunch will Ella." Alessia says.

"Ella's here?!" Beth asks surprised.

"No over FaceTime we eat over FaceTime together sometimes." I explain.

"Aww that's adorable." Viv says.

"Thanks I'd like to think I am." I tease and sit down by Lotte. The girls laugh and we just have a fun time.

The girls decide on horror. Which I have no problems with but Alessia...

Beth picks up the remote. "no arguments especially from miss scaredy cat over there I'm looking at you Russo," she points at Alessia jokingly.

Alessia goes to disagree but Beth says, "if you get scared I'm sure Izzi will protect you." She says teasing.

"Of course I will." I say and I wrap my arms around her and pull her into my lap and mumble as the movie starts "I'll tell you when it's alright to open. Okay?" This isn't my first rodeo Alessia watches horror with me all the time I just have to tell her when to look and not.

"Thanks baby." Alessia says and kisses my cheek.

"GROSS." Kyra teases.

"Oh shush." I laugh.

A jumpscare comes up on the film and Alessia immediately grips onto my hand tightly in response and buries her faces in my neck.

"You're good now." I whisper and Alessia looks up from my neck.

I let my thumb trace patterns on the top of her thigh trying to help calm her down and she starts to relax again beneath my touch. We stay like that for another half an hour until a massive jumpscare comes up and she immediately lets out a high pitched squeak as turns, burying her head in my neck.

Towards the end of the movie Lotte asks " Is she alright?"

I notice soft snores escaping her mouth. I smile and says "she's asleep."

"Adorable." Lotte says and lays her head on my shoulder.

"You know I love ya right Lotte?" I say and she looks up and says "of course I love you too." I smile and continue watching the movie.

I could wake her up but I don't instead I hold her closer. The movie finishes and the girls begin to fall asleep. It's just me and Kyra up.

"Kyra.." I whisper.

"What?" She whispers back.

"What are you still doing up?" I question.

"Can't sleep." She says nervously.

"Wanna come lay up here with us?" I offer.

"I uh ya." Kyra stutters out. Kyra walk over and I hold out my arm she immediately comes and cuddle into me. I look at her and I can see something is bothering her. I mean she's like my little sister I can tell.

"Kyra you know I'm always here for you. I won't ever judge you or anything. I see you as my little sister. I'm always here and so is Alessia, ok?" I whisper. Kyra nods and says "I know that I just have a hard time sleeping in new places. I think people will get me in my sleep or something."

"Ky I won't let anything happen to you. Get some sleep I'm right here okay?" I say.

"Okay goodnight Iz." Kyra says.

"Goodnight." I whisper back then I give Alessia a kiss on the forehead and tighten my grip around both girls. I fall asleep with Alessia on top of me and Kyra at my side.
