I lay panting on my bed, Lover by my side and our clothes strewn on the floor.

'You're amazing, you are' I said happily, smiling at my flushed girlfriend.

'No, you are' she replied, her hair was messy and frizzy, which was even hotter than normal in my opinion.

'What do you think the time is?' she asked.

'I don't know, but I'm hungry'.

'Let's go eat dinner then! I'm sure almost everyone will be home by now'.

I groaned and rolled onto my back.

'Or we could just stay here...'

'rep. You just said you were hungry. Besides, you've exhausted me. Be proud!'

'Hmm, that's good to know'.

'Why's that?'

'New personal best'

'Are you serious?'

'What! This is great, I shaved off half an hour. I am proud!'

Lover laughed before standing up and then flopping back down almost immediately after.

'Ow, shit'

'What? Ohhh, that'

'Looks like you're the only one going downstairs.'

'Damn it. I should've thought of that'.

'Mhm you should've, can I have ravioli?'

Now it was my turn to sigh.

'Anything for you love. Shower before or after?'

'I'll try and have one while you're downstairs'

'Absolute nonsense, wait here'.

I went into my bathroom as Lover's voice called, 'Not like I really could go anywhere anyway!' Which made me chuckle.

I turned on the bath and grabbed out my secret jar of rose petals specifically for occasions like this before sprinkling them into the now steamy water. I lit a rose-scented candle to match and turned off the water when it was full enough.

Once satisfied, I walked back out to my room and picked Lover up bridal style.

'Hey- rep, I'm pretty much fine now'.

'Too bad, let me spoil you'.

'Alright then'

I gently lowered her into the water and then gave her my special body wash.

'Enjoy yourself love; I'll make you dinner'.

'Aw rep, what did I ever do to deserve this princess treatment?'

'Go for 5 rounds.'

'Yeah well, you're not bad tops for a pillow princess'

'Hey!'

Lover shrugged and relaxed herself into the warmth of the water. I kissed her forehead then walked out of the bathroom to chuck on some trackies and a hoodie, before leaving some out for Lover too.

I walked downstairs and saw that pretty much everyone was home by now.

There was a speaker blasting music in the corner and I scrunched up my nose and blocked my ears.

'HEY GUYS' I shouted, hands still over my ears.

'OMG FINALLY' came evermore's voice from a kitchen stool. She pressed a button on her phone and the music stopped. I took my hands off my ears before saying, 'What's up with the music?'

'You think we'd rather listen to you and Lover?'

'Oh. Right,' I said, smirking slightly.

'Don't be proud' snapped Fearless.

'Shut up Feetless' I muttered in return. Fearless just huffed and turned back to her dinner.

I walked over to the fridge and began to cook as everyone around me talked to each other. The one sight that stopped me in my tracks was when Red leaned over and pecked evermore on the cheek.

I raised one eyebrow 'That's new, what'd we miss?'

'You didn't know? Me and ev are dating!'

'As if this house needed more romance' came Fearless's voice.

'Not like you would understand, virgin'.

'Red, she's a child' folklore scolded.

Red shrugged and turned back to evermore before whispering something in her ear and then pulling her upstairs. By then, I had finished and laid the table before going up to my bedroom. Lover was lying on my bed reading a book, her hair wet and straggly.

'Dinners ready Love'.

'Ooh yay, thanks rep'.

We walked back downstairs together before sitting at the table and began to eat.

'Hey, babe did you know Red and evermore are dating?' I asked Lover after swallowing.

'No? That's so exciting!' Lover turned around to where evermore and Red were sitting before saying 'Congrats!'

'Thanks Lover'.

Lover smiled then turned back to me and stood up.

'I'll take up our dishes'.

'Alright, thanks love'.

Lover took both our bowls into the kitchen, and I sat at the table scrolling through my phone without a care in the world.
