Song: epiphany
Folklore
I was sitting by myself on a hard metal chair in my favourite cafe. My mug of coffee warmed my hands as I sat by the door watching the world go by. Being away from the house was a breath of fresh air, and it sounded bad but I really needed to be away from the chaos. A loud crash and shouting behind me made me swing around.

Evermore
I sat in my car drumming my fingers on the steering wheel and trying to figure out where my sister had got to. I felt bad having to get her but we needed her calmness back at home. Suddenly I remembered the cafe, and knew that's exactly where she was. I quickly drove off, it was lucky the cafe was only a few minutes away.

I parked my car and got out. When I go to the cafe I heard shouts and started jogging.

"Folklore? Lorie?!" Worry was etched onto my face. I turned a corner and rushed into the restaurant. I was met by none other than the smirking face of Karma, holding her knife to Folklore's neck.

"Take another step and she's dead" Karma hissed, pressing the blade to her skin, causing a few drops of blood to drip.

I froze. "Please, don't hurt her I'm begging you" my voice was weak and desperate.

"Ev get out of here" Folklore cried out, yelping when Karma tugged her hair roughly.

"Please, Karma. We need her, you already have Debut, which isn't right in itself. Please, just leave us alone" I begged, tears springing from my eyes.

"No. This one is too smart, I have no choice but to remove her from the equation" Karma hissed booting Folklore in the back of the knees and making her stumble to the floor, only to be yanked up again.

"I love you Ev. You're the best sister I could ask for" Folklore wept having given up already.

"No, no. Karma please! I'll do anything, TAKE ME INSTEAD" I shouted.

"NO! Ev you have too much to lose, imagine Red without you. I have no one"

Karma scoffed. "Enough with the soppy chat oh my goodness, anyway, bye bye wise girl"

And in one swift hand movement, Karma slit my sister's throat. I let out a guttural scream and fell to my knees. Karma dropped her and left the cafe, swinging her knife around her finger lazily.

I lifted Folklore into my arms, beginning to pour emotion like I had never before. It was truly the end...
