'Ok love, the party is in four hours, what are you wearing' Rep asked, standing by my closet with her hands on her hips. I groaned and buried my head in my hands.

'Can you just pick? I really don't care'.

'Yeah alright, I guess. What about this?'

'Rep, that's a bra'.

'Really? Oops! Ok, how about... this, with that, and those shoes?'

'That's actually not a bad look, should I try it on?'

'Yay! Go for it'.

I pulled on a short pink skirt with a matching cropped top, tights and black boots, with a denim jacket over the top.

'I'm not sure, it's very your style, apart from the pink'.

'Well, I like it, you can always change it up a bit if you like'.

'Yeah true, don't you need to get ready soon as well?'

'Are you sure you don't want me to help with your makeup and hair and stuff?'

'No, it's fine! I got all that stuff, I'm excited to see what you wear'.

'Ok, I'll go get ready, I'll be quick!' 

I sat at my dresser; humming made-up songs to myself as I did my makeup and put on jewellery. For my eyes, I did a very light pink eyeshadow to match my top and red lipstick. After picking a handbag I took my phone off charge and headed downstairs.

Rep was waiting, holding a bouquet of baby pink roses which I guessed were a gift for Taylor.

'Wow. You look gorgeous baby' Rep kissed my cheek gently, careful not to smudge my makeup. However, my girlfriend's outfit left me speechless.

She had dark lipstick that matched her nails and eyeshadow, her fingers covered in rings. She wore a black leather jacket and black pants, with lace-up boots to match. It was very her style.

'Rep I- you look so hot' I stammered in reply.

'Thank you, baby, shall we go?' she replied, pulling her car keys out of her handbag.

'er- yeah'.

Rep giggled and opened the front door for me. I held one of her ring-clad hands and walked out, heading for her Porsche.

'Oh, love?' Rep said once we sat down in her impeccably clean car.

'Yeah?'

'These are for you!' Rep passed me the bouquet of roses.

'What? But it's not our anniversary? And when did you even get them?'

'I popped out to grab them while you were getting ready, they remind me of you because they're beautiful in every way'.

A tear formed in my eye as she said this.

'Oh Rep, you didn't have to I- thank you so much!'

'Shh, I hate seeing you not think of yourself as beautiful, realistically, no one is perfect. But in my eyes, you're the most perfect human being on this planet'.

The tears were running down my face now.

'I love you so much, Rep. I guess I didn't even realise how much I worried about how I looked'.
