Lover

I kept my lips glued to Rep's as we hugged in silence. When I ran out of breath, I slowly pulled back and smiled. I reached up and gently brushed the tears of her cheeks.

"Thank you" she whispered. "Sorry for breaking down on you like that, it's not really ideal I-"

"No, your feelings are valid, but we have to work on bottling things up. It's not healthy".

"Yeah, I know... it's just what I've trained myself to do. It's a hard habit to break".

Rep sighed and rubbed her eyes.

"From now on, I'm going to ask you about your feelings. Every day. And you're going to tell me what you're feeling. But only if you're comfortable telling me. I just really want to help".

"You don't have to be my therapist love, that's not your job".

"Im choosing to. It's not up for discussion. Although therapy is probably a good idea" I said thoughtfully.

"That is... absolutely not happening".

"Think about it".

A sneeze interrupted us from the doorway, and I turned around. Folklore poked her head through the door sheepishly.

"Sorry girls, I really didn't want to interrupt but I need to grab my phone really quick. I can wait though".

"No, it's fine Lorie, we'll get out of your way. Sorry!" I said, taking Rep by the hand and leading her to my room.

Speak Now (Joe, this one's for you) (not that Joe btw)

I sat on the garden bench reading a book and swimming my legs happily. The sun shone on my shoulders and made me sigh contentedly. A rustle behind me made me turn around and when I saw a girl slightly younger than me I jumped to my feet and yelped.

"Hey! Be quiet" she scowled.

"Who are you and why are you in my yard?" I near shouted.

"I said quiet. My names Betty, I'm homeless" she murmured, staring at the house.

"Oh. I have a-"

"Friend who would like that name? Yeah yeah" she rolled her eyes.

I took a step back.

"How did you know I was going to say that?"

"I have my ways".

"Wait. Rep said a girl who sounds exactly like you was the one who stabbed- OH MY GOD, YOU'RE BEAUTIFUL EYES AREN'T YOU?" I shouted, stumbling backyards in fear. The girl scowled and grabbed me. I let out a scream and tried to struggle out of her grip, but to no avail. She covered my mouth and backed into the forest behind our house. Once deep in the trees she let go of me.

"W-what do you want from me?"

"Nothing, darling. You're just spoiling my mission" BE crossed her arms.

"Excuse me?" I frowned.

"What?"

"You called me darling".

"Yeah sweetheart, it's called a pet name. Heard of it? Or are you too single".

"Alright settle down" I raised an eyebrow. My fears started to relax, how was this the girl that almost killed Reputation? "How old are you anyway?" I question.

"16. My birthday is in a couple weeks though. You?"

"Why should I tell you?"

"Because I told you mine. How old are you?"

"19, almost 20"

"Hot" BE seemed to be be in a small daze staring at me until she snapped out of it. "Shit. Did I say that out loud?"

I raised my eyebrows and nodded.

"Well, it ain't a lie. So, what are you into hun".

"What?" I said, having to double take.

"I'm starting conversation. What are you into?"

"Why do you care?"

"Look, I don't know if Reputation told you I'm some blood thirsty murderer or something but I'm an actual person, I have a personality. And a type... that's beside the point. Answer my question."

I thought for a second and then replied.

"Umm, I like Brooklyn Nine-Nine?" I shrugged.

"No way, me too!"

"Really? No one at home really does. Or they just don't talk to me" I mused.

"That's sad. I'd talk to you about it any day".

"Is this you trying to flirt?"

"I don't get out much. Plus, you're my type".

"You're lesbian?"

"Is that a shock?"

"Sort of".

I looked at the floor and we sat in silence.

"You're really pretty by the way. I just have to get that out" BE shrugged.

My cheeks started to feel a bit hot at this, I didn't get compliments often. "Thank you. You're... not too horrible for an attempted murderer".

"Thanks! And don't worry about that whole thing, my mum and Rep have some sister issues that I get dragged into on occasion. Nothing too much to worry about".

"Right".

1989 (Play False God for this one my turnips)

I stood in the kitchen leaning on our marble bench top. I was slightly terrified for many reasons, the biggest being debut, and then the rest of us. Rep and Karma's bad blood had really fucked up this household.

I felt arms wrap around my waist and turned around to see Midnights smiling at me.

"Hey babe" she said, pulling me upright. "What are you thinking about?"

"What do you honestly think I'm thinking about" I sighed.

"No, I know, I just read somewhere that talking about what your thinking helps" she shrugged, tucking a stray piece of hair behind my ear.

"Okay... I'm just really worried".

"Fair. What about?"

"Everything, everyone, apparently were not even safe here anymore".

"You're safe, I'll protect you".

I chuckled and rested my arms around Midnights' neck.

"Thank you, babe,".

"I have an idea".

"For what?"

"Getting that worry off your mind of course" she flashed me a tiny smirk and stepped closer to me, so I had to look up.

"Midnights no. That's highly inappropriate".

"Please. It will work".

"I know it will".

"You know how much you want it baby" Midnights whispered in my ear, leaving a gentle kiss on my temple. I almost moaned right then and there.

"How much I want it or how much you want it" I raised an eyebrow at her.

"Both. Come on, just one round. Or can you not be quiet enough?"

I bit my tongue in frustration and scowled. "I can".

"You sure? There's only one way to find out you know".

"Challenge accepted".

Midnights smirked and lifted me into her arms, guiding my legs around her waist. "You're not going to last a second baby girl".

"We'll see" I murmured into her ear, beginning to suck gently on her neck as she headed toward my room.
