Mugi woke up to the sounds of fighting.

Of course, he thought.

"I didn't steal your food, Sugar!" Kiren yelled.

"Then who was it?!" Sugar folded her arms, frowning.

"Not me!" He threw his hands up in defense.

She only rolled her eyes and scoffed. "Whatever." She glanced over at Mugi. "Good morning, Mugi!" Her tone changed quickly.

"Good morning," Mugi mumbled and brushed his hair out of his face.

Sugar stood up and walked over to Sharlet, gently nudging her side with her foot. "Wake up, Sharlet," she said softly.

Sharlet rolled over and groaned.

"SHARLET, WAKE UP!" She yelled and kicked her.

"I'M AWAKE!" Sharlet bolted up quickly.

"Good." Sugar gave a small smile. "Anyways, let's pack up and head out. We can't waste any time." She picked up her backpack, slinging it over her shoulder.

Mugi looked over and noticed that his backpack was open.

Surely, I didn't leave it like that, he thought.

"Who opened my backpack?" He asked.

"I didn't," everyone said in unison.

"My bag was opened when I woke up too. I think it was Kiren." Sugar rolled her eyes.

"I'm telling you; it wasn't me! What do you think I'd want from Mugi's backpack? He probably packed potted plants and stuff!" He argued.

Mugi scoffed, "Why would I need to carry around potted plants when I can make my own?" He stood up and folded up his sleeping bag before shoving it into his opened backpack.

"Perhaps it was an animal," Malcolm suggested.

"What kind of animal can open zippers?" Kiren raised a brow.

"Oh, right. Sorry," he smiled sheepishly, rubbing the back of his neck.

The six decided to just ignore it for now, after all, that was the least of their concerns.

"You have the map, right, Ebony?" Sugar glanced over at her.

"Yeah, I do." Ebony gave a soft nod.

"Good, good. If we forget anything here, we're not coming back." She sighed heavily and undid her pigtails. Her hair was incredibly long, it came down just below her butt.

"How do you manage to keep your hair so... untangled?" Sharlet asked in awe.

"Uh, a brush?" Sugar chuckled and brushed her bangs to the side with her fingers.

"Oh." She smiled goofily.

They walked for a while, chattering about numerous things. Mugi didn't engage in the conversations much, he found them quite foolish. He wasn't fond of talking about 'the meaning of life' anyway.

"I think that I'm the main character, you all are just NPC's." Kiren grinned.

"You are a side character at best, Kiren." Ebony chuckled, clenching the map tightly in her hands.

"I personally think we're just tiny little specks of dust, floating around on a round globe." Malcolm clasped his hands together, smiling.

"Round globe? Dude, the Earth is fla- I'm joking." Kiren chuckled.

"I can't even believe that people think the Earth is flat, it's so dumb." Sugar sighed heavily.

"For real." Kiren nodded.
