They stood at the end of the staircase, staring at her with wide eyes. Typically, they wouldn't be too scared of the people they were fighting. Though, this was the girl that caused an avalanche to fall on an elementary school. She was credited to be a cold-hearted woman with a lot of power. They knew she'd have no sympathy for them. This was the first time they actually feared that they'd lose. By then, there were only three of them left. They knew that Maverick wouldn't be able to defend himself, after all, he was suspended by the ropes.

Sinclair slowly stood up from her throne, descending down the stairs. She towered over the hall of elements, waiting for them to say something. The three exchanged glances, neither of them wanting to speak. Sharlet gently pushed Kiren forward. He laughed nervously and stared up at Sinclair.

"Uhh, hiii, Sinclair..." he said quietly.

"You three don't seem very intimidating. I have no idea how you even got this far." Sinclair rolled her eyes, unamused by their fear. Kiren always thought it'd be easy to stand up to Sinclair after all that she did, but he just felt so little while trapped in her gaze. Though, he knew that they needed to push through with what they were told to do. After all of the lives and time lost, they finally made it to their objective. Now all they had to do was overcome it.

"We're very intimidating, actually." He scoffed.

"Right... even Maverick is scarier than you," she mumbled, glancing back at all of the guards he beat. The other guards were slowly disposing of their bodies, not being able to tell which ones were dead or not. But Sinclair had an endless supply of people worshiping at her feet, so it didn't matter how many people she lost. Ari peered around her as well, surprised at the many people Maverick took down. Maverick tried to stand up again, but one of the guards pushed him back down onto the floor. "Now what shall we do with you three?" Sinclair said quietly, inspecting them thoroughly.

"The question is, what should we do with you?" Sharlet raised a brow, folding her arms over her chest.

"I'm sure your little itty-bitty powers cannot stand a chance against me, children," she spoke in a sticky-sweet tone, mocking them, "I will not stop until the world recognizes what strength I have over it." She turned around and walked back up to her throne, sitting down. She glanced over at her guards before looking back down at the three. "I wish you three the best of luck." She smiled slyly and sent several guards their way. Of course, the guards weren't very strong considering they were just randomly picked people to worship Sinclair. She knew that she didn't really need guards, but it just felt nice to have people work for her.

The three of them fought the guards, easily picking off each of them one at a time. They didn't really need to use their powers much, physical strength was enough to get rid of them. Ari electrocuted them until they were weak enough for Sharlet and Kiren to finish off. Sharlet wasn't able to use her powers because the room wasn't ideal for fighting. If she casted any water spells, there was no doubt that it would make its way to Kiren. Kiren couldn't use his spells because they'd light the whole room on fire, resulting in everyone's death. Electricity was really the only option. They continued the strategy until they got rid of the wave of guards. They didn't have any major injuries, just a few bruises and such were forming. Sinclair only continued to send more guards. Her workers decreased in size as the three continued to fight them until Sinclair had enough of their success.

She angrily sat up from her chair, "ENOUGH," she shouted, making the remaining guards flee back to their positions. She grabbed one of the weapons that one of the guards held. A metal bat. She used her other arm to take Maverick by the collar, pulling him closer to her. "If any of you make a move, he's gone." Her eyes darkened in the slightest as she threatened to dismantle Maverick. She knew that that was the only possible way to get rid of him. Ari's eyes widened, he stopped Sharlet and Kiren from trying to fight any of the remaining guards. "Make your choice. You can leave now with your little robot or continue to fight without him." Maverick shook his head quickly when he saw that Ari was planning on taking the first option. He wished that he could knock some sense into him, but his mouth was taped shut.
