Mugi regained his energy quickly and decided that he was tired of being carried around. "Let me go, Sugar." He frowned.

"Why?" Sugar smirked. The walk was boring, so she wanted to actually have some entertainment. And aggravating Mugi was most definitely entertaining.

Mugi felt his throat tighten up, "I swear, Sugar, let me go-" he managed to gasp out.

"You sound sick, are you okay?" She glanced up at him.

He began coughing, "Being this close to you makes me sick," he muttered angrily.

"And... just for that, I'm not putting you down." Sugar rolled her eyes. Mugi coughed more, squirming around in her arms.

"Mugi, you seriously don't sound okay, are you sure you aren't sick?" Kiren asked.

Mugi brought his hand up to his mouth, muffling his coughs, "Give me my wand, who has my wand?" He asked, a hint of franticness in his voice.

"I do." Ebony held up his wand.

"Don't give it to him, he'll try to beat me up." Sugar chuckled softly.

"I'm not joking around, let me go, Sugar," he said through gritted teeth.

"Oh my gosh, fine, geez." She dropped him onto the ground. He immediately scrambled away to a bush.

He fell to his knees and coughed out bundles of flowers and crimson blood onto the grass. It's getting worse, he thought. His throat opened up; he could breathe again. He walked back into the open again, staring down at the ground as he walked behind Sugar.

"Did you throw up or something?" She raised a brow.

"I didn't do anything," he mumbled.

"I heard you coughing, Mugi, you aren't slick." She glanced down at him.

Mugi ignored her, deciding that he didn't want to talk to her anymore. "Give me my wand, Ebony," he demanded, holding out his hand. She shrugged and handed his wand back to him. He snatched it from her and held it tightly.

"So where are we heading again?" Ari asked curiously, glancing at Ebony.

"Some abandoned carnival." She looked down at the map, pointing at a particular spot.

He gave a soft nod, "I enjoy carnivals, I think they're quite fascinating," he cooed happily.

Ebony smiled, "I agree."
Despite thinking Ari was peculiar, she still enjoyed his presence. She liked how happy and positive he always was, it was a nice refresher from the rest of the pessimistic world. She also thought he always had so many interesting things to say, so every conversation was new.

"I feel as if it'd be fun to work in a carnival or a circus. Oh, circuses are always so fun and interesting," he said.

Ebony nodded, "I'd want to be one of the acrobats, it'd be nice to learn how to do what they do." She smiled.

"Oh, yes, I agree! Though, most circuses don't provide any safety measures to things such as that, so if you made even just the slightest mistake, you really could just fall to your demise." He clasped his hands together, smiling.

"Well, uh, that's one way to think about it-" Ebony said awkwardly.

"Do you think there will be a bunch of spooky, abandoned games?" Kiren butted into their conversation.

"Probably, I wonder if any of them will work." Ebony shrugged.

"That'd be cool if they did, I miss going to carnivals." He grinned. Malcolm twitched a bit in his arms, he was breathing heavily.
