Doctor: I've checked and your now 10 centimetres,your ready to have a baby.
Chandler: (softly but smiling) oh my god. (This is all starting to get real and chandler is becoming more excited and he can't believe the real thing is happening right now)
(Everyone walks in)
Monica: guys! Guys! I'm fully dilated I can go, you know have the baby!
(They all say at the same time)
Phoebe: oh that's great!
Joey: wow exciting!
Rachel: ok good luck mon!
Ross: yay see you on a bit mon!
(They all leave apart from chandler)
Doctor: right are you ready to push?
Monica: mhm
(Chandler is stood next to her supporting her)
Monica: (she pushes) AHH
Chandler: PUSH PUSH, BREATHE BREATHE!
Monica: (she breathes in and keeps pushing)
Chandler: (he goes down to see) oh my god that's the most beautiful top of a head I've ever seen (he goes back to her) PUSH!
Monica: OW OW GET OUT (she keeps pushing)
Doctor: that's it almost there
Chandler: (quietly under his breath, out of breath) oh my god! Oh my god!
(Monica finally pushes one more time and the baby is delivered)
Monica: (she's crying) oh my god! (The doctor passes her Daniel)
Doctor: here is your baby (they smile)
Chandler: (he has is mouth open in shock and just stares at the baby)
(He then kisses Monica still with his mouth open in shock but then keeps staring at Daniel with his mouth wide open. - like when Isabel gives birth in fools rush in)
Monica: (still crying) hey handsome. I'm your mommy and this is daddy. Yes, yes we are. (Monica's mind: I can't believe I was ever upset about finding out about this little baby this is the best thing that has ever happened to me in my life and I am so happy it's with chandler. They are both the love of my life.)
Daniel: (he stops crying as Monica says this)
Chandler: aww he's so cute (chandler is crying now too, but not as much as Monica) (he kisses Daniel's head softly) (chandlers mind: oh my gosh, I can just remember a few years ago I thought I'd end up alone I don't know how I got so lucky. I have Monica who I love so much and didn't know it for so many years and now I have Daniel and I didn't know I could love a kid so much but I do.)
(Everyone walks in)
Ross and Rachel: (softly whispering) oh my god!
Phoebe: ohh he's so cute!
Joey: aww little Daniel! (They are all whispering)
(Daniel is now half asleep in Monica's arms and chandler is sat on the side of the bed next to Monica laying down)
Rachel: can we hold him?
Monica: yeah be careful though (she smiles as she very gently passes Dan to Rachel)
Rachel: (she takes him) ohh look at you beautiful! He's so cute Monica!
Monica: I know ( she says it like she usually says but whispered)
Joey: my turn! My turn!
(Rachel passes joey Daniel very carefully)
Joey: woah he looks so real!
(Everyone looks at him confused)
Joey: you know what I mean (he smiles)
Phoebe: I want a go! (Joey passes him to phoebe)
Phoebe: aww Monica he's so cute! (Quietly) unlike his father loony Larry he must get all his looks from you Mon!
(Chandler looks at Monica like he does when someone says I don't think I could give any of you up and Monica says I think I could in season 5 on the original)
Ross: my turn!
(Phoebe passes him to Ross)
Ross: oh my gosh I can't believe he's my nephew he's so cute! And now Ben has a little cousin!
Chandler: can I hold him now?
(Ross passes him to chandler)
Chandler: (he takes Dan gently and cradles him softly. He doesn't say anything for a bit but just stares at him sleeping) moni- (he stops and sees she has drifted off) oh she's asleep I'll just leave her to sleep and sit on the couch.
Ross: ok we will go to the waiting room so it's not so crowded in here.
(They all go apart from Monica and chandler)
(Chandler sits on the couch next to the bed Monica is asleep on either side Danny in his arms)
Chandler: Hello Daniel I can't believe your mine.
(He rocks him gently and Dan starts to open his eyes)
Chandler: oh you're waking up, ok?
Daniel: (he yawns)
Chandler: you know your a lot less scary then I thought you would be (chandler laughs)
(Daniel has bright blue eyes and light brown hair and looks exactly like chandler and less like Monica but they don't realise this yet)
Monica: (she starts to wake up and she looks at chandler and Dan. Chandler doesn't see her looking but he keeps looking at Daniel and rocking him back and forth slowly while his legs moved in that way too. Chandler was smiling at him and rubbing his back with his fingers - like he did with Erica in the last episode in the original friends, chandlers hair is dropped over his face kinda flopping because his head is facing down looking at Danny) ( Monica smiles at them and a tear runs down her face)
Chandler: (he then sees she's awake) oh mon you're
awake!
Monica: (shaky because she is crying) yeah, yeah I'm good I'm really good. How's Danny doing?
Chandler: very good, he woke up and his eyes are so beautiful (he pauses and looks at Monica) just like yours (he smiles). Do you wanna hold him?
Monica: yes please.
(Chandler gets up slowly and passes Dan to Monica)
Monica: (as she takes him) aww how's my little boy. (Daniel grunts a little bit then settles in Monica's arms) (she strokes his few hair that he has) He looks just like you chandler.
Chandler: aw thanks hopefully the others don't realise (they both giggle slightly).
(Everyone comes in again)
Ross: hey mon (he smiles)
Phoebe: when will you be able to go back to the apartment.
Monica: the doctor says tomorrow morning.
Ross: I can stay here with you over night if you want (he pauses) oh wait I have to look after Ben tonight I can't damn.
Chandler: I can stay over night I don't mind I don't have anything special planed (he laughs slightly)
Ross: yeah thanks chandler
Monica: thank you chandler
Rachel: well it's getting kinda late I'm gonna go
(Everyone else gets up and leaves but Monica and chandler and joey briefly)
(Joey walks in to the delivery room to find them all there and Daniel in Monica's arms, with chandler sat on the side of the bed just watching him)
Joey: Hey man I just wanted to say congratulations, I know it would be hard for you since all the others don't know but I'm proud of you chandler.
Chandler: (he gets up and he's half crying half not) thanks Joey. (He hugs him tight for a bit and they are both on the brink of crying.)
(Monica is focused on the baby so doesn't see this)
Joey: you're gonna make a great dad you know that? All that worrying and stuff it doesn't matter you are gonna be great.
Chandler: (he sniffs) you think so?
Joey: wha- chandler I know so, seeing you only today you were a great support I could see so man just know that you are gonna be great.
Chandler: thanks Joe (he hugs him again and the tears fall off both of their eyes.)
