Bill drives his family back to Los Angeles after meeting his sister in law's family. He glanced over the back mirror and specifically looking at his daughter.
"CC? Are you okay back there?" He asked.
CC just ignored her father as she rested her head against the window of the car door.
"Young lady..your father was talking to you and that's rude for you to ignore him when he was being concerned towards you" Jess scold.

Both of the families sat down together in living room as the atmosphere tensed. Bill look at Carlos, letting him know that his cue to start what they've discussed.
"We know you guys just have some sort of feelings towards each other. But as parents we must say that..that is not right" Carlos said at CC and Katie.
CC was surprised as she gets up ,letting go of Katie's hand "this isn't fair! I finally found someone I have feelings for and then said it's taboo because apparently our mothers are long lost separated twin!" She said angrily.
"Watch your tone, CC." Jess warned.
CC look at her dad as if she started to cry "dad..." she called.
Bill look away as he felt guilty.
"Oh stop with all these drama." Allison said as she had enough.
"We only said to not have that feelings towards one another anymore. But we never said to cut ties you guys being cousins. Like care and look out for each others" She continued.
Jess smiles as and add "yeah. We could be so much happier being one big family." She said as she hugged her sister.
CC stomped her way out and cry herself out. Katie followed her as she worried about the girl.
She followed her to the backyard and CC sat down under the tree. Katie slowly approached her cousin "wow. You found my spot" she said as she sat down next to her.
"Go away...I don't want you to see me like this" CC said.
Katie chuckled as she nudged her shoulder towards CC's "but I already did." She said.
It was silent as fill up with the sound of CC's sobbing softly.
"Hey...I know..things suck for us but that doesn't mean I or you need to hate on each other. Look at the bright side...our mums reunited...we're going to celebrate Christmas every year and grew up together" Katie said as she look up to the sky.
"Even if we're not together in this life time, I hope the next one we will and if we don't too, I'll pray to universe to make us together no matter what happened" the brunette said as she rest her head on the blonde's shoulder "my heart crushed too when i found out I might be your cousin" she said as she chuckled.
CC smiles and rest her head on Katie's head slightly "I wish the same too then...thanks cuz." She said as she burst out laughing.
"Hey don't call me that!" Katie said as she pout.
"But you are my cousin~" she said as she stretched Katie's cheeks.

Katie lay down on her bed as she stared at the ceiling. She couldn't stop thinking what happened today. It all happened too fast that her brain can't process it.
She grabbed her phone and scrolled through the contact number and stop at CC's. She smiled and clicked on it then on message icon.
/Tell me when you arrive LA😝/
She clicked send and put the phone away then get off the bed.
At the same time the Walkers still on the road heading home. Ding sound came from CC's phone.
The girl sighed and look at the screen. Smile creeps on her face as she opened the text. She then typed back to that person.
/that's another 2 hours to go 🙃/
And she clicked send.
Katie , from the bathroom, she heard ding sound. She ran out with toothbrush in her mouth. She jumps happily and reply back.
/aww...have some sleep then. You'll feel sick if you're on the phone too long/
Ding! CC quickly opened it and read it. She bit her lower lips as she felt unsure whether to send it or not 'ah fuck it' she said in her mind.
/I'm more sick not being with you/
Katie gurgle out the water and use the clean towel to wipe her mouth. She grabbed her phone and reads the message.
She blushed and quickly brush the feelings away "no no" she said to herself. She didn't reply anything and straight go to her bed. Forcing herself to sleep.
On the other side, CC waits for Katie's reply and she found out that text was a mistake. She turned off her phone and put her hoodie on and close her eyes shut.

The next day Katie wake up and sleepily reach for her phone. She got it and positioned herself laying on her side.
She got lots ,not that much message from CC. She reads it all.
/hey..are you mad?/
/still in the car but not that far towards LA"
/Katie...i was just being a fool...please reply..."
/we arrived home/
/you sleep already?/
/can we call?/
/...good night kat.../
Katie sighed loudly and put her phone away then gets ready for the school.
She came down and joined the table with her family members for breakfast.
"One or two?" Allison asked as she pointed the pancakes.
Katie look for a moment then shook her head and grabbed one banana from the basket "I'll be having this...bye mom bye dad" she said as she walked out from the house.
Nando stopped enjoying his pancake and quickly chew the food in his mouth "damn it Katie! Wait for me!!" He yelled and quickly take a clean takeaway container from the cabinet.
He put his extra pancakes and his leftover inside "bye mum! Bye dad!" He said as he close it and follow his sister to school.
