Katie look at her father "I-..." she slowly inhale and exhale through her mouth "I am calm..." she said.
"What do you mean by normal mum? Am I not normal? Because after Nando told you about me liking another girl, you seemed very disturbed by that? are you actually a homophobe?" She asked.
Allison look at her daughter as she frowned "you can't attack me with that kind of question. I'm your mother"
"And I'm your daughter who's being real with herself. My love for you has not change one bit. But you?" Katie said as she stormed off to her room.
Nando sighed slowly "I'm done" and grabbed his and Katie's dishes then wash it before going back to his room.
Carlos look at his wife with rather much a disappointment look. Allison scowled "don't look at me like that. Please!" She said as she left the husband alone with the youngest.
"Want to help daddy clean the table?" He asked.
"Aye! Aye!" Ellie said in full enthusiasm.

Nando stood in front of her sister's room and slowly knocked on the door "Katie it's me...can I come in?" He asked.

The door is unlocked but unopened. The boy entered and look at the sister "look...I know I did you wrong that day...please forgive me.." he said.
Katie rolled her eyes and gets close to her brother "I don't think I would forgive you easily. You think you're so smart that you think what you did was the best for me" she said angrily while closing her arms.
"Katie...I didn't expect things turned out like this. What I did is really for protecting you" He said trying to prove himself a point.
"Get out." Katie said.
Nando was dumbfounded "what?"
"I said get out! Move!" She said as she pushed him out of her room.
Nando shook his head slowly and entered his room.
Katie slumped herself onto the bed and yelled over the pillow. Lashing out her anger.

A message just in from her phone. She grabbed and quickly sat herself straight on the bed.

The text was from CC. Katie smiles and remembered that she's been ghosting that poor girl for a week now.
/nope...something happened and it's frustrating me out/
Katie sent the text then waiting for a reply.
On the other side, CC was surprised that the girl is actually replying to her.
She excitedly reply back /i thought you didn't want to talk to me anymore/
Katie chuckled slowly /sorry🥹....you mad?/
CC lying on her front as she kicked her feet in the air happily /what??? Noo~ just a bit. But not much/
Katie smiles widely and lies on her side /Nando is coming to LA for the weekend to help Wyatt with his project .../
CC is a little bit confuse /so??/
Katie facepalm herself and typed /so that means I'll be following him too! And I think why not we also do something together while they're busy/ she send the text.
"Ah...." CC said as she understood it all. She turned to her side and replied /sure~maybe you could also come to my practice./
Katie reads it and squeals in excitement /omg! I would love that!/ she tapped the send button.
CC giggle and find it cute /you sure?? I might get myself carried away with the practices and forget that you even there/
"This girl..." Katie said slowly and typed /I bet that's not going to happen because my existence would make you lose your focus/ she sent that.
CC reads it and starts to blush as she imagines about it "damn it. She's right" CC said to herself /we'll see about that/
They both chatted till late night and eventually falling asleep texting to each others with the phone still in their hand.
Knock knock
"CC you're late for school if you're not ready by now" Jess said behind the door.
"...." No respond from the daughter.
Jess opened the door and saw her still sleeping on her bed.
"This kid..." she said slowly and walked towards the sleeping girl.
"CC wake up. You're going to be late" she said softly as she shakes her body gently.
At the same time...
Allison walked into her daughter's room and shakes her head "Katie...." She said softly as she witnessed the messiness in the room.
She swiftly picked up the dirty clothes on the floor with her head and grabbed them with her hand "wake up ,Katie!" She said as she opened the curtains.
The lights from the sun blinds and disturbed the young girl's sleep "mom....put it back on...." She said sleepily as she covered her face with the blanket.
"No. You got school. now chop chop get ready" Allison said as she pulled the blanket away then left the room.

Katie yawned softly as she rested her head on the desk. Everyone in the class were busy chatting with one another.
She took the opportunity to rest her eyes a bit.

Unfortunately she's disturbed by the sound of her phone. She takes out her phone from the pocket and caught herself smiling like a fool.
CC had sent a selfie of herself walking to school because apparently Jess said she needed to give some lesson.
/I'm actually already late for school 🫠 my legs dying/ CC said in the text.
Katie giggled and stretched her arms taking as selfie of her still laying her head on the desk.
/and I'm sleepy 😪...I wanna sleeep~/
CC smiles and quickly save the photo into the gallery.

She stopped for a second from touching the send button. She deleted the heart and sent it.

She playfully kicked her feet under the table and noticed her face is warm. 'I'm falling deeper for this girl.ughhhh' she thought as she headbanged softly on the table.
