Standing behind the wall ,Ava peeked over looking at CC who was coming towards her. As the girl came closer ,she accidentally dropped her water bottle which rolled towards the blonde "hey watch out!" she yelled.

CC heard her and stopped the bottle with her feet and bend down to take it. Ava came forward stood in front of her "gee thanks bestie" she said with smile on her face.

"you should be more careful with your stuff Ava. Luckily the bottle didn't break" she said as she passed the bottle to the taller girl.

"I know I know" Ava said mockingly as she walk to their class.

CC were puzzled for a moment, yesterday they had an argument which possibly wreck their friendship and now her bestfriend still being her bestfriend "Ava wait!" she called as she stopped the taller girl.

Ava turned to look at her as she tilts her head a bit "yeah?" she asked as acting oblivious.

"about yesterday...i'm sorry for-"

"it's okay. no need to say anything. I'm over it already" Ava said while lying to herself.

CC wasn't sure if she could believe that or not because her instinct said the girl aren't actually okay "you sure? because I swear I never in my life trying to lead you on. you're my bestfriend Ava" she said.

"hey." she said as she grab the girl's arm "I'm over it. really" she said as giving an assuring grip.

The blonde smile and linked her arm around Ava tightly "awww thank you for still want to be my bestie!!"she said out loud as the other students and teachers passed by them turned to look at them with annoyed look on their faces.

'yeah. then slowly I'll make you mine' Ava said in her mind.

It is break time for lunch. Katie sat on the bench enjoying her meal that Carlos packed for her. She giggled as she read the notes her father wrote [cramps? more like angry little ninjas inside you trying to kill you] She kept the notes in the pants back pocket.

"wuuu someone's happy"

Katie look turned her head to the side and her eyes widen "Layla..." she said.

Layla sat next to her and slowly punched on her shoulder "hey what's with that tone? aren't you happy seeing me??" she said as she chuckled.

It's have been almost maybe like 2 years since she cut ties with her best friend, who is now ex-bestfriend for her.

"no I didn't" Katie said as she grabbed her stuff.

Layla grabbed her by the wrist tightly "I said I'm sorry okay? it was music festival,of course there will be fooling around with the boys ,vibe and stuff" she said cockily.

"but you did ditched me for those jerks. I was scared that night" Katie said as she snatched her hands off that girl and rubbed the pain slowly.

"AGAIN! I'm sorry. can't we just forget it all off and start being friends again?" Layla plead.

Katie shook her head and walked away as the break time end bell rings.

Layla watched her go as she gritted her teeth.

"so when we breath, we inhaled the oxygen and exhaled the carbon dioxide and then-! Alright students! Do not forget to do the homework I gave. I want you all to submit to me by next Monday" the teacher said as she dismissed the class.

RRRINNNGGGG!!!

The students all cheered as it already end of school for the day. Nando put all his stuffs inside his bag and walked out to the main hall as he waits for his sister.

"bye Nando" one of his classmates waved at him as he smiles back at them.

at the same time..

"ah!" BAM ! Katie were pushed against the door of the one of the toilet stall.

Layla grabbed her by the hair and pulled Katie to face her "I wasn't amused on how shitty you talked to me this afternoon" she said angrily.

Katie cries in pain as she tried to free herself "let me go Layla! you're hurting me" she said.

The other girl scoffed and tossed her to the side as she backed away "if you tell this to anyone, I'm going for your brother." she said as she smirked.

"don't you dare drag him into this" Katie warned.

Layla laughed herself out "oh? are you trying to fight me back just now? cute." she grabbed Katie by the face and squished it that it hurt the girl "you're such a pain in the eyes you know that, right?" she said as she slapped the girl.

Nando look at his wristwatch ,its already passed 30 mins and began to get worried of his sister. He walked around the school and asked the people there about his sister's whereabout. Lots of them just shook his head and told him that the last time they saw her was when she exited the class.

"damn it Katie... where are you??" he said to himself and pray that he will find her soon.

"Nan...do" someone called for him sounding weak and pain in their voice.

He recognise the voice and quickly turned his head "Katie! there you are, where have you-" he stopped as his eyes widen in terror "w-what happened to your hair?? Katie?" he asked as he grabbed onto her as she looks weak to even stand on her own.

Her hair was chopped badly short as there are bruises and her lips busted and her clothes felt moist for some reason "I'm... I'm okay lets just go home..." she said as she tried to walk but quickly he hold onto him "ah...maybe we should just call the Lyft...uh-" before she could finish the poor girl fainted.

"Katie!" Nando yelled at he grabbed her from falling to the ground.

"I heard there's a new ice cream shop open.should we check it out?" CC asked as she put her stuff in the locker.

Ava thought for a second and smiles "oh I heard that too! I'll tell my ma to send us there." she said as she grabbed out her phone.

The notification sound in from CC's phone. Her eyes widen in terror as she opens and read it "sorry Ava. I'm going home. I'll make up to you on another day!" she yelled as she ran out from the locker room.

"ugh..." Ava sighed as she unsend the message to her mother.
