CC ran around the field as she celebrated her first goal. All her teammates jumped and hugged her from behind. She knew tonight they will bring back the trophy.

"Damn it CC! We're going to beat them down tonight!" Ava said as she and the others get in their position for the game.

CC just smile and stood at her position. Out of the blue she felt like someone is looking at her. Just one glance, her eyes locked with one girl.

She doesn't understand it but she can't look away. Ava came towards her and pat her by the shoulder "hey you good,C?" She asked her bestie.

"Huh?" She blinked her eyes few times as she come back to her senses "y-yeah. Let's beat them up" she said as she ran to the centre.

"And~ we're back again! I hope Unicorn will maintain their gameplay because seems like their striker,CC Walker looks distracted for a second there-"

"Come on CC!!" Coach Kim yelled from the side.

CC takes the ball passed by Ava. She guides it towards the goal. 'Is that girl still looking at me?' She thought.

She look again at the girl's direction and there she is,still looking. "She's still there" she said to herself. For sure now she's convinced that she's not day dreaming.

"CC,watch out!" Ava warned at her.

Quickly she look at her front, two players from opposite team are both charging towards her.

"Ava! Catch!!" She kicked the ball towards Ava at her left wing and swiftly Ava catch it then kicked the ball towards the goal.

"Gooooalllllll!!!! Perfect communication between Ava and CC have given Unicorn their second point!" The commentators cheers.

'This is real...that girl was looking at me again' Katie thought.

"Um sis...is she looking at our direction just now? Specifically at you" Nando said as he noticed it.

Katie turned her head to look at her brother with slight blush on her face "i-i'm not sure" she said as she stuttered.

"Are you ok-" "i need to use the washroom" Katie cuts her brother and gets up from her seat.

Their parents were confused as they saw their daughter suddenly stands up " is your sister okay?" The mother asked.

"Mhm" Nando said as he lifted up his shoulder saying he doesn't know.

Katie couldn't believe that she locked eyes with the player 'what is this feeling?' She thought to herself as she look at her reflection on the mirror.

"Maybe it's just coincidence? I mean everyone is cheering at her" she said to herself then open the tap.

She watched the water flow and cups both of her hand together then splash the water to her face.

Bam!

"There you are.Finally I found you"

Katie was startled and look at the person that barged in.

'Huh? That girl...she's gone' CC thought to herself as she look at the direction the girl was before.

Coach Kim saw her favourite player seem distracted and cue the staff for substitution.

The referee blew their whistle for the team to make substitutions. CC look at Ava who also confused what's happening.

"What? The coach call out CC to back in bench? I hope nothing bad happens" the commentator said as they watched her walked to the side.

CC was dumbfounded and ran towards her coach "what's wrong coach?" She asked as she heavily breathed from the running.

"It's you that what's wrong? What happened just now?" Coach Kim asked as she crossed her arms.

CC realised she did let her guard down earlier at the field. And for that she can't put it into words to defend herself.

"Sorry coach, I was distracted. I promise this won't happen again" CC said apologetically.

Coach sighed slowly and said "fine. Have a rest first and when you're done, i hope you could give us your best performance to the game" she said.

"Thanks coach. I won't let you down this time" she said as she raised her hand.

CC smiles and had an idea to look for that girl "um excuse me. I want to use the bathroom" she said.

'But where should I look for her?' She thought to herself as she just let her body bring her to that girl.

"S-Sorry?" Katie said as she backed away a bit.

"You're the girl that I locked eyes with, aren't you?" CC said as she walked closer.

Katie couldn't say anything and for some reason she needs to lift her head up 'damn she's tall' she thought in her head.

"Hello? Im talking to you" CC said as she waves her hand near Katie's face.

"Y-Yeah okay. I heard you." Katie said as she gots annoyed a bit.

CC chuckles a bit and smiles "right...so what's your name?" She asked.

'She wants to know me? What's her motive?' Katie thought.

"Um why would you wanna know?" She asked the player.

CC scratch the back of her head and suddenly she thought of something "fine if you don't want to tell me, do you happen to have pen with you right now?" She asked.

"I do,maybe?" Katie said as she rummaged through her small sling bag and found it. She takes out the pen and gives to CC.

"Nice. Give me your hand" CC said.

"Huh for what?" Katie asked but was ignored by the player. CC gently hold her left hand and write down her contact number.

CC gives back the pen and smiles at Katie "I'll wait for your call!" She said as she exit from the washroom "or text me!!!" She yelled as she rans out.

Katie was of course, she's speechless and started to blush so hard. She put her right hand on her chest 'damn...never once my heart beat this fast before' she thought.

At the same time..

'Omg CC that was cringe! You could've just save your number on her phone!' CC cries in her mind.
