"Move away Ally." Carlos demanded as he rammed the gas.
Katie stood in front of the door with sad look on her face "dad..mum...please...people are watching us" she said.
Allison and Carlos look around, some being nosy as they peeked out of their window and acted dumb. Carlos turned off the engine and gets off the car.
He hugged his wife as he apologised "I'm sorry..."
"It's okay...I'm still here for you" she said as she comforted her husband.
Katie walked towards them and joined the hug "all these happened because of me" she said.
"No dear,you're not" Carlos said.
Allison nodded "don't blame yourself okay? We will sort this out. Don't worry" she said as she look at her husband.
"Yes..right now you go to your room and have a good rest." The father said.
Katie wasn't sure if she should feel relieved or not but she now listened to the parents and go to het room.
She try to sleep but her eyes were thinking about her father. The more that she thinks about it the more she loathes Layla and her whole family.
"I'll get you back soon ,you'll see" she said to herself and opened her phone.
"Hmm" she scrolled to her phone "maybe i should give that girl a call" she said as she were looking at CC's contact in her phone.
"Ughh~ i hope she rejects it" she said as she clicked on call. The number is dialling. The girl waits anxiously.

"mhmm~ this rocky road flavor are not that bad. would you want some?" Ava asked as she offered hers towards the Ace.
CC shook her head as she keeps mushing down her ice cream in the small cup. Hers already melted as she busy scrolling on her phone.
Ava rolled her eyes and snatched the Ace's phone away "h-hey!" CC yelled slightly.
"Yours already melted. If you don't eat it then I will" Ava said as she took the cup away from CC and feed the mint flavoured ice cream into her mouth.
"Yucks! tasted like toothpaste. I dunno why this even exist in the first place" she cried as she pushed the cup away.
CC laughed at her bestie's babbling "why not? it is refreshing" she said and noticed a small mess on the corner of Ava's lips "eat properly will ya?" she said as she took the tissue and wipes it.
That got Ava caught out of guard as she slowly blushed.
"Ava? you good??" CC asked out of concern seeing the girl paced out a bit there.
The girl came back to her senses while nodding her head and remembered of something "a-anyway CC. prom night is coming soon. so, I thought maybe-"
Ring Ring
Phone belong to the Ace rang, CC look at the contact name shown 'Katie <3' on the screen,quickly she picked it up "sorry" she said to Ava as she gets up and to answer the call somewhere else.
Ava sighed as she started to mush her ice cream too out of frustration.
CC make herself calm first as she controlled her breathing and slowly exhaled then clicked accept the call "h-hey" she said as she leans her side againts the wall.
'Ah she didn't reject it! Stay cool.' Katie laughed softly as she sit on her bed hugging her knees "did you just take a moment to calm yourself down before talking to me?" she teased.
"what? n-no..I was running and I need to catch a breath" she flustered as she air punch on the wall.
"sorry I did not reply to your messages...I just... I just dunno what to say to you" Katie said.
CC leaned her back against the wall as she look down, kicking her feet "it's okay...i'm just glad that I get the best reply now" she said.
Katie knew what was the blonde going to say after this "don't you dare finish that sentence" she warned.
"because I get to hear your voice again...I...uh..I miss you,Katie.."CC said as she blushed so hard slowly going down hiding her face from other people.
The other girl slumped her face towards the pillow as she screamed and then get back to the phone "CC, you're cringe. you know that?" she said as not admitting that she pretty much enjoys it.
"only to you" CC said.
"fine...thank you. I miss you too, CC, like a lot. I hope you like my new haircut when I come this weekend" Katie said.
CC smiled widely when she knew that the girl over there also misses her "don't worry. you're still my favorite cousin" she said.
They talked for few minutes and stopped as CC remembered she wasn't at the ice cream shop alone "shoot! i'll call you later okay. bye bye! heart you!" she said over the phone as she ended the call.
on the other side the girl stunned for a moment "heart you? like love you??" Katie asked herself. she the opened Messages and typed /earlier you said heart you..do you meant love you?/ then clicked send.
Ding!
CC opened the message and read. her eyes widen and before she could read again, the messages was deleted.
"why did she delete that??" she asked herself.
She walked back to the table she sat with Ava earlier, her own stuffs were still there but Ava was nowhere to be found. She grabbed her belongings and came close to the cashier "um excuse me..where is the girl that sat with me there just now ? " she said as she pointed at the table.
the cashier smiled "oh she left 30 mins ago. she said you have a very serious call that you need to get and asked us to keep an eye at your stuff" explained the cashier.
CC nodded and thanked the cashier and tipped them good before leaving the ice cream shop.
