Peter watched as Ash finished her food, making sure she ate every last crumb. As Ash ate the last bit of food, she turned to Peter. "I have been tied down to a chair for a week. Can we just go out and swing around?" she begged.

Ash looked at him with puppy eyes until he sighed and gave in. "Okay, but your mask kinda exploded, so for now, you'll just have to wear one of those fabric masks."

"How..." Ash was at a loss for words. "How the actual fuck did my mask EXPLODE?"

Peter shrugged. "Probably the same way you knocked out 20 scientists while being tied down. Actually, I think you might have killed some of them."

"Damn. I was joking about getting even more overpowered." Ash was shocked that she had been able to do that without moving, but quickly brushed it off. "Anyways, let's get swinging!"

Peter handed her a mask, and they both ran off to grab their suits. Ash got back first, but with her mask sewn back together, then Peter followed after.

"How the hell did you..?"

"I had a messed up mask from ages ago, and I just used my amazing seamstress skills to mostly fix it," she informed Peter.

They both ran and jumped out of the window before Tony could protest.

They swung up and down the streets of New York, ignoring everyone but themselves. They were giggling and talking as they swung until they had to come down to talk to the reporters.

The reporters had gathered in a massive crowd that almost blocked the entire road. They were all shouting questions at the same time, and Ash had enough. "ONE AT A TIME, PEOPLE! ONE AT A TIME!"

The reporters stopped and raised their hands like children. They each asked their questions as the vigilantes pointed to them. "Why were you two gone so long?"

Ash answered blankly, "I was kidnapped."

Peter also answered, "And I was unable to do anything but worry about her because she was kidnapped."

"What happened to your mask, Electrachnid?"

She chuckled nervously. "My old one kinda... exploded, so I had to sew an old mask back together."

"How did it explode?"

She looked him dead in the eye and spoke, "Torture. Same kind I went through every day from the ages of 4 to 14."

The reporter muttered an apology, but honestly, Ash didn't care. As long as Peter was there, she knew she was safe.

Eventually, their questions ran dry, and they all eventually walked away in their small mob of reporters. Ash and Peter looked at each other and burst into laughter.

Peter shouted through laughs, "YOU MANAGED TO CONTROL A GROUP OF CRAZED REPORTERS! YOU'RE INSANE!"

Ash chuckled at his shock, "Yet you still kissed me even though I'm crazy."

Peter looked at her, his blush hidden under his mask. "You're lucky I like crazy."

Ash started to swing away, and Peter attempted to, only to realise his web fluid had run out. Again. "Ash! I'm out of web fluid again!"

She sighed and swung back to him, scooping him up bridal style in her arms. "How many times do I have to say it. Check. Your. GOD. DAMN. WEBSHOOTERS."

Ash swung around New York with Peter still in her arms for another few minutes before returning to Avengers tower, barrelling in through the now always open window. "Your favourite arachnids have arrived!"

Peter jumped out of her arms and went to sit on the couch, pulling off his mask. Ash did the same and sat in between Peter and Wanda, her two favourite people on the team. Tony turned to Ash. "Why were you carrying him?"

Ash snorted, "He forgot to check his web shooters and ran out of the web fluid, so I had to carry him around." Peter huffed and crossed his arms. "Sorry, Peter. I'm sure these guys have done more embarrassing stuff."

Clint grinned at this. "Oh yeah! Like the time Tony-" He was stopped by Tony properly tackling him to the ground.

"Whatever you heard, you didn't hear it. Anyway, you two new recruits need to have your rooms shown to you. Come on." Tony had a very clear, massive mood swing.

Ash got up and dragged Peter by his hand to follow Tony, who showed no signs of waiting for them. "Jesus christ, slow down, Tony! If you walk any faster, you'll just be running."

Tony sped up, clearly to annoy Ash, so she webbed his feet together. "HEY! WHAT WAS THAT FOR?"

"Tony," Ash took a deep breath in, "WALK LIKE A NORMAL PERSON, YOU MADMAN!" Ash cut the webs and let Tony get up.

Peter had been watching this entire situation, shaking with silent laughter. Tony glared at her as he got to his feet but couldn't do anything because he knew she would electrocute him.

They reached their rooms, which were right next to each other, and threw themselves into their beds, which were massive just like the rooms. They had never felt such comfy beds in their lives.

They quickly fell asleep on the beds, forgetting the past week's stress.
