The soft morning light seeped through the curtains, casting a gentle glow on the room where Murtasim and Meerab lay peacefully asleep. As the first rays of dawn kissed the world awake, Murtasim stirred, gradually awakening from his slumber. The tranquility of the moment hung in the air, undisturbed by the bustling world outside the window, the faint sound of waves crashing against the shore was audible.
Murtasim, careful not to disturb the stillness of the room, opened his eyes and found himself in a position that filled his heart with warmth. His hand lay delicately on the pillow near Meerab's head as if gravity itself had guided him to this tender moment.
Meerab lay beside him, her features softened by the gentle embrace of sleep. Her long lashes rested against her cheeks, casting delicate shadows whereas her perfect lips curled in the perfect pout. The rhythmic rise and fall of her chest created a soothing melody that echoed in the quiet room. In that serene stillness, Meerab resembled a porcelain doll, her beauty ethereal and otherworldly.
The room began to brighten as the morning sun climbed higher in the sky, casting a warm glow on Murtasim and Meerab. Murtasim's eyes caught the clock ticking past eight, and a gentle sense of urgency stirred within him. He knew they couldn't linger in the cocoon of sleep forever, and responsibilities awaited them.
Murtasim's fingers traced a tender path through her tousled hair as he leaned down to whisper softly, "Meerab, uth jao meri Jaan." His warm breath brushed against her ear, coaxing her gently into consciousness.
She stirred, her eyelashes fluttering open to reveal the drowsy glint of morning light in her eyes. She looked up at Murtasim through the haze of waking, and a lazy smile graced her lips. However, the comfort of sleep still held her in its gentle embrace.
Not ready to part with the blissful realm of dreams, Meerab buried her face in Murtasim's chest, a soft protest escaping her lips. "Just a few more minutes," she mumbled, her voice muffled against him. Her arms tightened around him as if trying to anchor herself to the dreamlike state where worries were distant echoes.
Murtasim chuckled softly, his heart warmed by Meerab's reluctance to get up, his hand coming around her form to hold her close. He ran his fingers through her hair once more, savoring the tenderness of the moment. "I wish we could, meri Jaan, but we need to leave," he whispered, his lips brushing against her forehead.
Meerab peeked up at him through her lashes, her gaze soft and dreamy. She let out a playful sigh, her reluctance to leave the embrace of sleep evident. "Okay" she sighed, her eyes reflecting a mix of sleepiness and affection.
Murtasim couldn't resist her charm. He pressed a gentle kiss to her forehead, savoring the sweetness of the morning. "As much as I wish we could stay here but I have some work. But we can always come back to this place later, this place is ours!" he said, his eyes dancing with love.
Meerab whose head was buried in his chest swiftly detangled herself from him as her mind registered his words, their eyes locking once again "Kya matlab"
He brought her close, their chest pressing together as he spoke "This is a private property Meerab, any one could invest here so I bought it for us, ham dono ki personal jagah"
He had bought them a private sanctuary where they could escape anytime. His thoughful gesture overwhelmed her and she leaned up to kiss him passionately. After a lingering moment, they detangled, ready to head home.
As they prepared to face the day, the memory of that tranquil morning lingered, a promise of more moments like this awaiting them in the tapestry of their shared lives.
