Meerab and Murtasim stepped into their room, the echoes of their twilight beach stroll lingered in the air, a testament to the serenity they had shared. Murtasim's hand remained a comforting presence at Meerab's back as they ascended the staircase.

Meerab made her way towards the dressing table and began to remove her jewelry, delicately placing each piece back into its designated spot. With a sense of ease, she then headed towards the washroom to change into something more comfortable for the night, leaving Murtasim to his own thoughts.

The memory of their leisurely walk along the shore, the waves caressing their feet, brought a sense of tranquility to the room. However, Murtasim couldn't shake off his initial apprehension about Meerab wading into the icy waters, especially given her condition. When Meerab, with her trademark determination, had tugged at their entwined hands, coaxing him towards the water, Murtasim's protective instincts had kicked in.

"Meerab bilkul bhi nahi, itna thanda pani hai, bukhar hojae ga yar," he had voiced his concern, his tone laced with worry as he attempted to dissuade her. Yet, Meerab, with her unwavering resolve, countered his protests with a persuasive plea, "Murtasim," she sighed, her eyes imploring, "Please na, you are sounding just like Mama and Maa Begum," she teased, rolling her eyes playfully.

Unable to resist her adorable puppy face he looked at her for a moment and gave in. He had relented, his concern giving way to affection for his spirited wife "Just a few minutes, God knows how you get everything done from me".

However since then, Murtasim had been apprehensive about Meerab wading into the icy waters, concerned for her well-being. But in the momemnt he couldn't bring himself to deny her simple pleasure.

Glancing at his watch, Murtasim noted the time - it was close to eleven in the night. He had been keenly observing her movements with a mixture of admiration and concern. She had appeared slightly fatigued as she had made her way to the dressing table, a testament to the day's activities.

Sensing her weariness, he just wanted her to rest now.  Swiftly removing his coat, he placed it at the back of the chair before rolling up his sleeves and reached for his phone inside his pocket to go through some emails while she changed.

Despite the late hour, Murtasim knew that tomorrow would bring another early start for him. With pending tasks to complete before their departure for Hyderabad the following day, he mentally prepared himself for the enormous amount of work that needed his attention. Yet, amidst the hustle and bustle of their busy lives, the memory of Meerab's triumphant convocation filled him with pride and joy.

Turning his attention to the console on the opposite side of the room, Murtasim noticed a significant change in its appearance. Once adorned with decorative pieces and framed photographs of Meerab, it was now adorned with several shopping bags, an evidence of Meerab's indulgent shopping spree earlier in the day, a delightful surprise he hadn't expected.

She kept him informed about her day's activities so it was a surprise that she had stepped out for some shopping considering that everything made her tired to her bone these days, thanks to their cute little Jaan.

Meanwhile, the door to the washroom swung open, revealing Meerab adorned in a soft, white silk PJ set. Her tired demeanor was offset by a gentle glow, a reflection of the peace she had found in their shared moments.

As Murtasim's gaze fell upon Meerab, his heart skipped a beat. No matter what she wore, her beauty never failed to captivate him. Even in a simple night suit, she exuded a radiance that left him spellbound.

Throughout his life, he had encountered many beautiful women, especially during his time in the USA for university, but none could compare to the allure of his Meerab. With each passing day of her pregnancy, she seemed to glow even more, her beauty transcending any expectations.
