You were an unexpected surprise, the defining moment. The collision of stars that slammed into me hard and sent my neat little world plummeting into the ocean.

I never expected it to be you, you know? But it is you. It's all you. And now there's no looking back.

Meerab was sitting on the plush sofa in her house in Karachi, anxiously waiting for Saba to arrive. Their meeting had been put off for a long time now. Considering how Saba had connected with Murtasim to reconcile them was something that she could never thank her enough for.

The main living area was filled with the familiar scent of her childhood, a comforting mix of incense, and the aroma of her mama's cooking. The walls echoed with the laughter and chatter of family gatherings from years ago.

As she sat there with Anila making sure that lunch would be according to the girl's liking, her mind drifted back to the palyful banter she had with her husband about spending the weekend at her mama's place. He was meant to go to the village for the weekend and wanted to take her along but she had not met mama since she had returned from their vacation so she chose to come to Karachi.

"Kya hai yaar, ham dono gaon chalte hain, Sunday ko vapsi per Karachi ajaen ge or tum mil laina"

Meerab who was packing her stuff for the weekend in their dressing room as she saw her husband throwing a cute tantrum, groaning in mock disapproval, making her giggle at his adorable antics.

He had puppy eyes in the moment, making her consider his option before she spoke,

"No ways Murtasim Khan, I want to spend  some time with Mama and I also need to meet Saba, this all can not happen in a day",

He sauntered over with a mischievous glint in his eyes, determined to captivate her thoughts and change her mind.

Casually wrapping his arms around her from behind, his strong hands gently rested on her waist as he leaned in and placed his head on her shoulder.

"Socho Meerab, ham dono ko akele kitna waqt mil jae ga'

Tiliting her head, she gave him easier access. His playful demeanor had a magnetic effect on her, and she found herself surrendering to the unexpected embrace.

His fingers traced patterns on her waist making the mundane task of packing so difficult.

She chuckled at his efforts in trying to distract her from going to her parents place.

"No ways, we are always alone and I will go to my parents place"

He opened his mouth to convince her once again but she made her way to the closet pulling out her clothes

"Okay Fine," He muttered in frustration as he himself began to pack for his stay at the village.

The doorbell rang, interrupting Meerab's thoughts, and she saw Sabra baji making her way to open the door. Saba entered the house and hurried towards her taking Meerab in a tight embrace,  bridging the gap that had developed over time. Their reconciliation had been long overdue, and today seemed like the perfect opportunity to mend the bonds that had weakened.

"Meerab, where the hell have you been?"

She uttered those words, her voice hoarse . Meerab could sense the emotions built up inside of her.

"I am extremely sorry, jis waqt tumhe meri sabse zayada zarurat thi main tab tumhari madad nahi kar saki, I truly am, Mujhe jab se guard se pata chala tha ke tum mere ghar aii thi, I could not forgive myself"
