Divergence Alpha - Cronus

Grey POV

I floated in a void, almost like a liquid I could almost feel in my head. It's been a few days since my moment with Kaie and Shin, and it seemed like they kept quiet about it. But I knew what was going on right now, I'm dreaming, for the first time in who knows how long, I was dreaming. I slowly began to take in my surroundings, the room I was given no longer within my view, instead, a large open field of grass surrounded my every look, Legion units surrounded me, Eintagsfliege covered the skies. I began to take them in, Ameise were obvious around me, enough to state they were at least a few hundred in number. Several Lowes were here as well, roughly a dozen, my eyes ensuring I made the count correctly. There was also several dozen Grauwolfs, the more I saw, the more I wondered what I was seeing. Then my eyes fell upon it, a Dinosauria, I said, as if to understand myself what was going on, "What's happening? Why am I being shown this?" 

That was when a faint noise began to enter my ears, I quickly focused in on it, making sure I knew what it was. That was when I heard it, "Attention, Unit Cronus, high priority target Datenshi has been located. Last known coordinates sent, investigate and eliminate." The voice was like static to my ears I couldn't tell who was speaking, but I heard loud and clear the next line, "Roger, moving to eliminate Datenshi." It was the same voice from when Kaie survived, one of my squad, Cronus. His voice sent a shock through me, and I was awake, shooting upright in my bed, silently. I said, "Datenshi, fallen angel..." I looked to my hand, I couldn't believe it was real, when I ran out of titan names, since there was only twelve of them, they tried to get my callsign to be angel. 

I reached for my crutch for a moment, stopped mid reach, and said, "Really... this isn't funny Cronus." I finished going for my crutch and soon began on my way to eat. I was silent as I ate, I was catching stares since I was usually so talkative. Once I was done, I quickly got up started walking to the garage, I knew what I had to do since my unit was finally ready. Once I got inside, I began to check my juggernaut over, a voice spooked me for a moment, "What are you doing here Grey? There's no mobilization order." I turned to face him, I watched for a moment as his eyes went slightly wide, and said, "Please, load my Juggernaut, there's something I need to do." He stood there for a moment, silent, but he must have noticed the look in my eyes, because he said, "Alright kid, how much?" 

Shinei Nouzen POV

Everyone was speaking about Grey acting oddly, his talkative self gone, and his face serious. That was when I felt it, shaking, I quickly ran outside and noticed a Juggernaut without an emblem on it was running out of the camp, towards the battlefield where we found Grey. As everyone began to file out, I began to run for the garage, I quickly began a connection with Handler One. I heard her speak, "Undertaker? What is it? It's too early for this." I spoke, "One of our Juggernauts just sped out of the garage and out towards our recent battle area. Unknown who left at the moment." Handler One seemed to sharpen up with that, "I understand, give me twenty minutes." The connection dropped, and I made it into the garage. "Lev!" I shouted, unsure where he was. But I noticed he was loading up my unit, and others were loading the other Juggernauts. 

Lev looked to me, "Good, you noticed, now hurry up and follow Grey, somethings wrong." I walked up to my Juggernaut, then asked, "Did he say anything? Anything at all?" Lev would respond, "Just one thing, something I knew I'd never be able to stop him from doing. "There's something I need to do." That was what he said before I loaded his Juggernaut." Soon, Kaie rushed into the garage, then everyone else began to trickle in, I turned and said, "Spearhead Squadron, we're moving out!" Everyone seemed to understand as they all responded with a, "Roger!" before rushing to their Juggernauts. We had to wait a few extra minutes since we weren't fully ready, but right as I was about to launch, I heard static as I turned my pararaid on, a voice speaking in my mind, "Datenshi located, beginning assault."
