Heyo, human beings from outer space!
Here is a second Christmas special because we need some holiday fluff to heal us from the holiday angst because I'm too broke to send everyone to therapy! And yes, it's several days after Christmas because I'm a lazy master procrastinator.
This was requested by DyslexiccRatt.
Read on if you dare.
Naboo mornings were always slow and peaceful with steaming mugs of tea, glorious breakfast spreads, and watching the sunrise.
At least, that's how they normally were.
This was why Ahsoka's fight or flight response kicked into action when something crashing into her jerked her out of a pleasant dream. Ahsoka shot up, ready to drop kick something across the room only to be met by two grinning childish faces. She froze. She'd forgotten it was Life Day.
Both children simultaneously burst into laughter.
"You should've seen your face, Auntie 'Soka!" Leia cackled, rolling backwards from laughter.
Luke wheezed and added, "You're silly!"
Ahsoka drew in a deep breath to calm her racing heart and rubbed her eyes with a chuckle. "You got me there. What time is it?"
"I don't know," Leia said with a shrug. "Like, five or something?"
To Ahsoka's horror, the chrono proved Leia correct. "I don't suppose you would go back to bed if I asked you to, right?"
Grinning up at her toothily, the twins shook their heads.

Wrapping paper was flying in every direction. Ahsoka dodged an airborne gift bag and Leia's shrill screech pierced her montrals.
"Aunty 'Soka, look what I got!" Leia shoved the bracelet-making kit in Ahsoka's face. "You have to make them with me!"
"How about we do that in the afternoon?" Ahsoka suggested and Leia agreed with a vigorous nod of her head.
"Now," Padmé said as she picked out the next present in the pile of gifts for the twins, "this one's for you to share. It's wrapped twice, so you can each pull off a layer."
"Me first!"Luke cried, grabbing the present from his mom. He ripped into the first sheet with so much vigor that the second came off along with it. "Oopsie."
"Hey!" Leia snapped. "That one was mine." She snatched the wrapping paper from Luke's hands and tried to smother him with it. Anakin sprang forward to wrestle her off.
"I wasn't finished," Leia pouted up at her dad. "I would've won, too."
"You sure would've," Anakin whispered in her ear so Luke wouldn't hear him. Luke didn't, but Ahsoka did, and she suppressed a snort.
"Okay, look at what you got," Padmé encouraged.
The twins forgot about their quarrel and turned to their gift, faces instantly lighting up.
"Droids!" Luke cried and Leia added, "L0LA and L0L0!"
"Auntie 'Soka, look!"
"I see, those look very nice," Ahsoka said. "I'm jealous."
"We can share! You can play with us, too."
"That's very sweet," she laughed.
"Now it's your turn, Mommy. You too Daddy. Open your presents!"
