Reflections of Unknown

In the mirror, I seek my reflection,
A question lingers, a soul's inspection.

Am I a person, trust's embrace,
Or a shadowed figure, a monstrous face?

In the cradle of love, do my parents hold,
Or am I a mistake, a story untold?

A being with purpose, or just a toy,
For amusement's sake, a fleeting joy?

I yearn to know, where I belong,
In life's symphony, where's my song?

What have I done, to bear this plight,
In the mystery of self, searching for light?

A someone, a no one, the answer unclear,
In the whispers of existence, I seek to draw near.
