I am a cat, and this is my life
I sleep all day, and prowl at night
I have a bowl of food and water
And a litter box in the corner
I like to chase the birds and mice
And sometimes knock things off the shelf
I scratch the couch and shred the curtains
But I don't care, I'm just having fun
I have a human who loves me
They pet me, cuddle me, and play with me
They give me treats and toys and catnip
And sometimes let me sit on their lap

I'm independent, but I'm also nice
I have a personality and a charm
And I know how to melt a human's heart
I also have some feline friends
We meet outside and roam the streets
We share our stories and secrets
And sometimes fight over territory
