It's been a few days and it's like 2 am i Get a call.

I get another

And another.

I get out and answer

"Ran-"
"Soda.. Sodas gone we can't find him he just left!"
I hear pony on the line and my heart sinks.

"What?"
"We can't find soda!"
"Tf you mean u can't find soda?"
"He just left! I woke up and he was gone!"
"Shit!"
I hang up and ran to put clothes on and hop in my car and speed down the there house.

Darrys rushing around and pony is calling people

"Where was the last place you saw him?" Darry asked me
"At work! We havnt hung out!"
Pony butted in "I called two hes gonna come help
"Call dally!"

"He's ran away before but usually something causes it!" Darry looks scared

Two barged in

"I gotta go find him!" I say
"Not yet we will all leave after we call dally"
"God damn it!" I ran out the door

And I never ran faster down that street i stopped at the lot and looked everywhere

I went to dingo I went to bucks

I went to the dx everywhere

I lastly went to the park

I see a figure smoking a cigarette

"Steve?"
"Soda?"
"Nah it's dally"
"Shit"
"What wrong?"
He stood up and look at me
"Soda left. He just ran out I guess"
"Oh fuck I just saw him I had no clue he said he needed some money and I gave him what I had and he said he would pay me back and he acted weird I just thought he needed something."
"What"
"I wasn't thinking shit man"
"Your fine come on let's find him"
Dally hops in his car and I get in the passenger and we drive and we see another figure and a lit cigarette

I hop out the car we are miles away.

"Soda?"

He looks up and jumps a bit and runs. Leaves his cigarette and books it.

"SHIT"

"Oh fuck" dally says seeing him run

I sprint after him dally follows me and we run for a while and we see soda collapse.

He's unconscious.

I shake him and yell his name he opens and eye and says

"I'm sorry"
"Soda whats happening?"
"I-I love you"
"I love you too what's happening?"

I feel him sink into my arms.

His breathing is shallow but he's breathing.

Dally just stands there and I pick soda up I hold him in my arms and dally runs to get his car

I cryed. I sobbed I was a mess.

"Soda come on man wake up"
I hear the car and I pick him the rest of the way up and get in the back seat with him

We get to the hospital.

And they look at him for hours. And hours and they call us in.

"Hey soda"
"S-Steve let me go. Please"
"What?"
"You gotta wake up and let me go"
"What.?"
"I love you"

I wake up and gasp for air I reilize I'm still in my clothes and I ran to the Curtis house. I fell asleep in the lot?

I rush inside and I catch my breath and I see soda standing there

I run to hold him and he's confused
"What's going on man?"
"Thank god!
"What?"

Darry rushed in and said " what the hell is ha- Steve?"
"Sorry darry I- I had a shit dream it scared me real bad"
"Um ok stay here if you want I don't really care"
He walked back to his room.

" I sound like a pussy"
"No you don't you were worried"
"Still it's not like me to do that shit"
"Don't beat yourself up about it it's ok im right here"
He placed his hand on my shoulder and pulled me in for a hug
"Im right here man, I'll sleep out here with you."
"You don't have to"
"I wanna"
"Ok you don't have to tho"
"Wanna go out side for a bit?"
" sure"

He grabbed my hand and we sat on the porch looking at the stars

"If you don't mind me asking what was the dream?"
I explained and he said
"If I went crazy you would be the first to know"
He laughed after he said it and he said "I would let you know before hand as well. I won't go crazy don't worry"
"Thanks man that's reassuring"
He laughed and I followed

We fell asleep on the porch.
