5 - Enter the Digiverse

Nyla's POV:

I got up, grabbing rocks and throwing them out into the ocean in anger. I was angry with myself for not protecting my brother, and for letting my new ally down. And I was going to admit that I was starting to develop some feelings for Jax. We had a lot more in common than we thought.

"You must calm down, Nyla. Do not let your anger consume you." Father tried to convince me, but I wouldn't listen. "Try using your power." Father said, but I snapped.

"You've been telling Lloyd and I to not use our power this entire time! And I'd totally shapeshift into a dragon and fly to them if I knew where Jax and Lloyd was, but I don't, Father!"

Father was silent, and I threw another rock into the ocean. "Why are you so angry, daughter? This isn't about Lloyd or Jax anymore. I can tell." Father spoke.

I sighed. "Because I haven't forgiven you, Father! I'm still angry at the fact I had been separated from my family because of you, and now, my brother and my new friend have been taken by the Overlord, and I can't do anything to help them, even though I told myself I was going to do everything in my power to keep them safe!"

Father was silent at my words as I shapeshifted into a dragon. "I'm going to find the ninja to help Lloyd and Jax." I spoke, before leaving my father behind. I know I was being a jerk, but I couldn't take it. I just wanted to curl into a ball and cry.

Lloyd's POV:

I was thrown into a weird glass compartment as Jax was chained to a wall. That's when I felt a stinging pain in my body, and the extraction of my Golden Power had begun. Golden Power started to appear everywhere as Jax and I watched them in horror, but we were unable to do anything.

More pain seared through my body as I let out a groan in pain. "Lloyd! Stay strong!" Jax yelled to me. I tried to stay strong as my legs gave out and I fell on my knees.

"Soon you will be utterly powerless. And I will escape this digital prison and become whole, and nothing will stop me from becoming the Golden Master!" The Overlord spoke. "Now, deal with the betrayer." the Overlord commanded, and I watched in horror as Jax was being beaten in front of me as my power was being drained.

Nyla's POV:

I flew back to the city, and reached Borg Tower. I was guessing that if the others had already shut down the power, they'd be here. But when I arrived, I found a protective barrier around the base of Borg Tower, and a huge crowd of Nindroids were at the entrance, starting to enter. It appeared the Nindroids had made their way through the barrier however, and were making their way to the top.

I flew to the highest window, landing on a gandola, before seeing the ninja all in seats while Nya, Cyrus, and P.I.X.A.L. were monitoring them. I knocked on the window, and Nya saw me, quickly. opening the window. I climbed into the room when Nya spoke.

"Nyla? What are you doing here? Where's Lloyd and Sensei Garmadon? What happened to that orange guy too?" Nya asked. I looked down. "The Overlord has taken Lloyd and Jax. And I was so angry at Father I left him at the beach near Stiix."

Nya nodded. "We'll have to worry about them later. Once the ninja finish in the Digiverse, it's game over for the Overlord and Lloyd will be safe." Nya spoke. I nodded in response.

"I saw that Nindroids breaking in. I'll hold them off while the others-" I was cut off. "No. You should join the others. I never told you, but I made another Techno Blade for you. I never gave it to you however, so the Overlord would never suspect. Now, get into a chair and help the ninja with the final key." Cyrus spoke. I looked at him with surprise before I ran to a chair, getting in.
