Nyla's POV:

I stood in the Temple of Light besides Jax, who was healing well. Lloyd decided to split his power with the ninja, so we came with Father and Sensei Wu. Of course, Father and I won't speak to each other, and it may have been affecting Lloyd.

"I can't do this alone anymore. As long as I have all this power, they'll never stop coming for me." My brother spoke from under the bell with a sigh. "From here on out, we can't let anything separate us again." Zane spoke, and I nodded. "Let's do this." Kai said.

Lloyd summoned his power before shooting it at the bell. A beam of light came down over Lloyd, before it split, each of the ninja's elements going to them.

Kai summoned fire with his hand, Zane made an arch of ice, Cole created a small earthquake, and Jay surrounded himself with lightning.

"The Elemental Power, it's inside us." Zane exclaimed as the ninja started to goof off with their newfound power. Jax and I stepped outside as we let the ninja have their moment of fun. They definitely deserved it. We stepped outside, going a bit away from my Father and Sensei Wu as they were talking, and I sat on the edge of the cliff, looking out onto the Dark Island. It was different here now. It was peaceful and had the potential to be a great place in Ninjago.

"So, what now? Now that the Overlord is gone, I mean." Jax asked me as he sat next to me. I sighed. "After we track down Pythor, we will probably go back to being teachers while my brother earns rewards."

Jax nodded. "Sounds boring." He laughed, and I laughed with him. 'Yeah, it is. And lonely without my brother." I said.

Father had called us, and it was time to leave. We got up, and Jax and I walked back to the others.

We had been assigned to different positions to be on the lookout for Pythor. Nya, Jay and Cole went to the movies to "keep an eye out for Pythor", when they were really just going on a double date so Nya could choose one of them. Lloyd went to the toxic bogs, Zane, P.I.X.A.L., Jax, Father, and Sensei Wu stayed at Borg Tower, while Kai and I got assigned to the desert.

Unfortunately, Kai is the worst partner ever. We stopped at a gas station to pretend we were siblings, despite our different hair color. His hair was brown while mine was dirty blonde. "Okay. Let's get some snacks for the road." Kai spoke, as I rolled my eyes.

"Kai, we don't have time for snack breaks." I said, but he ignored me as he spotted a blonde haired girl and started to flirt with her and flex. I had to watch the whole thing, and felt stupid too. Kai was not a good flirt or flexer.

Thankfully, I heard P.I.X.A.L. speak, and I felt a sense of relief. "Kai. Nyla. Come in. Kai, Nyla, I need you." I started to make my way to the Prototype X-1 roadster when Kai groaned. "Not now, P.I.X.A.L." The girl he was flirting with suddenly looked offended. "Who's P.I.X.A.L.?"

"Uh..." Kai struggled to explain and the girl flung her slushie into Kai's face, as I laughed. I got into the prototype, waiting for Kai to start it. Kai entered, starting up the prototype.

"Did I catch you at a bad time?" P.I.X.A.L. questioned. Kai let out a sigh. "This better be good." Kai said as we started to drive away.

"There's a Nindroid convoy heading west and General Cryptor is on it." P.I.X.A.L. informed us. "Cryptor." Kai repeated. "We need you to follow, but not be spotted." P.I.X.A.L. instructed. "Will-" I was cut off by Kai. "I'm a ninja. That's part of the job." Kai spoke as he put on some sunglasses.

"We mean it, Kai. It's imperative your carelessness does not jeopardize the mi-" P.I.X.A.L. was cut off by Kai now as Kai muted the radio. "Relax. When have I ever been careless?" Kai asked. He looked at me like I was going to back him up, but I shot him a glare, telling him he's always been careless.
