// the day of the tour //
"Got everything you need?" I looked down at my suitcase filled with my favorite clothes, my essentials, my purse, and my electronics and stuff.
"Yup!" I looked at my mom and gave her a huge hug.
"You know what the plan is right?"
"Yeah. I drive to Lincoln, Nebraska. Then I park at the Lincoln Industries parking lot. (lol it's not a real place. Well i don't think so.) Then I get all my stuff, and find the tour bus. From there, I get into the tour bus, and call you so you know I reached safely."
My mom raised one of her eyebrows.
"... And thank everyone for giving me this great opportunity."
My mom's eyebrows went back to where they were. "Do you think 7 hours is too long of a drive? I can drive you if you want."
"No I'm fine mom. I'll take care of myself."
"Of course you will sweetheart." She gave me a big hug and a kiss on my cheek. "I'll miss you."
I'll miss her too. After a long time, I released from her hug. I walked over to the door and opened it slightly. I then looked back at my mom. "I'll see you after the tour."
"Bye sweetie."
I closed the door behind me, and hauled my stuff to my car. After I plopped everything into my car, I got into the front seat, and put my key in the ignition. I pulled out of my driveway, waved to my mom, and started on my long drive to Lincoln.

After what felt like a century of driving, I finally reached the parking lot. I parked in one of the spots, and got out. I took out my suitcase, purse, and Starbucks (which I got on my trip), and made my way to finding the bus. It was incredibly hard to juggle my suitcase, my purse, and my Starbucks not wanting to drop any one of them.
A boy with a chiseled jawline, and really dark hair spotted me and came running to me. "Woah there." He took my suitcase from one of my hands and took the Starbucks too. "Wait," I said wanting my Starbucks back. He let out a little laugh. "No worries, I won't harm your -" He inspected he Starbucks. " - Caramel Ribbon Crunch Frappucino." I let out a little laugh. "The tour bus is this way." I walked with him to a group of people, chatting with him every step I took. "You're Serena right? I'm Jack. Jack Gilinsky." He stuck out his hand that was free and immediately regretted it knowing my hands were still full. I touched my elbow to his palm and said, "Nice to meet you Jack. I've seen your vines, and listened to your songs. They're really good!" "Thanks." He said.
A girl with long, dark brownish-black hair came up to us. "Hey babe." She said to Jack. I immediately assumed she was Madison. She looked to me. Not saying anything. It was extremely awkward, so I decided to introduce myself. "Hi, I'm Serena Hopkins." I couldn't really stick out my hand so I just stood there waiting for a reply. Instead she completely ignored me and went back to talking to Jack. I guess she didn't hear me?
"So what have you got there in your hands bear?" She said noticing my suitcase and Starbucks in his hands.
"Oh yeah, I was helping Serena carry her stuff."
She looked back at me and looked me up and down. "Kay." That's all she said, and made her way back to the group of people.
"Let's put all your stuff in the bus and I'll introduce you to the rest of the group." Jack said. "Okay." I replied. I followed him to the bus. The first step I took, my mouth dropped in astonishment. Bunks lined the left and right side of the bus and a mini bar and bathroom were in the back. "Wow."
"First tour huh?" He questioned.
"Yeah." I said still looking around.
Jack made his way down the aisle and pointed to a top bunk. "I called dibs on that one." He then pointed to the bunk below that one. "And Johnson is in that one." Johnson. I couldn't wait to meet him. I heard he was super cool, and also the nicest one, and extremely funny. And t-b-h he was super cute! Jack then pointed to the top bunk across from Johnson's. "This one is Sam's." Next he pointed to the bunk above it. "And that's Matthew's." He walked farther to the back of the bus. And came across a pair of more bunks. He pointed to the top of one bunk. "This is Madison's." He then pointed to the bunk across from it. "And Mahogany texted us and told us she wanted the top bunk. Madison really doesn't want anyone to sleep on the bunk below hers, so I advise you to pick the one below Mahogany's." I nodded my head. Mahogany seemed like a cool person so I didn't really care if I bunked with her. "Okay," I said, "Thanks." I set my phone and purse in the bunk. He handed me my suitcase and Starbucks. "I'll meet you out when you're ready." He made his way out of the bus.
I put my suitcase in one of the compartments, and organized my stuff. I then sat on the mattress of the bunk. Did I seriously just meet The Jack Gilinsky?
