I couldn't count how may times
I went over the situation in my head
I replayed every little detail
Again
And
Again
Nothing changed
I just got
More angry
I just felt
More hurt
You cannot forget how a person makes you feel
I cannot forget the tears I shed
The strangled sobs that
forced their way out of my throat
The time I spent with you
The sleepless nights
The fear
The shaking
The nausea
I cannot forget how you
made me feel
You caused an open wound
But could not
offer me so much as a plaster
Wounds scar
Wounds stay
The thought of you
Will scar me
And stay with me
Forever
I can't find a new solution
I can't find surrender
The flag I wave is not white
It is stained and torn
But it will not come down
Not until I have moved on
Not until you give
The girl you destroyed
The send off she deserves
I want to scream at you
One release of venom
From my tongue
Then it will be over
Then you can live your life
And I can live mine
We can be strangers again
And I can move on
I want you to choke
So I can breathe
I want you to fail
So I can win
I want you to leave me
So I can stay
I want you to admit
You have lost the war
I want you to face
